American Pet Nutrition’s Supreme Source Brand identified a clear opportunity to strategically extend its market presence by launching a sub-brand to compete within the “premium value” arena.

To translate this market strategy into consumer success, the Smith Design team collaborated with Supreme Source, assisting with the packaging design to specifically target a more value-oriented demographic of consumers, ensuring the product stands out clearly from the competitive set, and presenting it to consumers as an upgrade option that provides better quality for the price.

This season, Planters rereleased its Special Reserve peanuts, a product with a strong track record as a holiday staple for gifting and entertaining.

The Smith Design team crafted an elevated packaging system that taps into the growing demand for premium storytelling, collectible formats, and heritage-driven design. From naming the harvest-inspired Crop 23 to developing the refined canister and presentation box, every detail was designed to enhance the uniqueness and limited nature of the offering.

The final package design delivers an experience that feels luxurious, gift-ready, and unmistakably memorable from the moment it’s opened.

Together, we were able to donate over 150 pounds of food to Interfaith Food Pantry. We are thankful for our team and for the opportunity to make a positive impact in our community!
