As we head into the new year, NAMI reminds us that mental health resolutions don’t have to be about perfection — they’re about progress.

Instead of pressure, try:
🧠 Setting realistic goals
🤍 Creating space for rest
📆 Building routines that support your peace
🤝 Asking for help when you need it

You don’t have to overhaul your life to move forward. Small, consistent steps count — and so do you. Here’s to entering the new year with grace, self-compassion, and hope. ✨

The holidays can feel overwhelming – between family gatherings, gift lists, and year-end pressures, it’s easy to forget the most important person: YOU.
Your mental and physical health don’t take a holiday break. Neither should your self-care.

This season, remember that taking time for yourself isn’t selfish – it’s essential. Whether it’s a quiet cup of tea, a walk around the block, or simply saying “no” to one more commitment, small acts of self-care make a big difference.

At Alliance, we understand that your well-being matters every day of the year.

Your health is the greatest gift you can give yourself and your loved ones. Take care of you first.

🌍 Representation Matters in Healthcare 🌍

At Alliance, we know that achieving true health equity starts with access to providers who reflect and understand the communities they serve.

When minority and underserved populations see themselves in their care teams, trust grows, barriers break, and outcomes improve.

𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨. 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨. 💙🧤

Our Community Impact Specialist, John Giampaolo, recently delivered 300 cold weather resource bags to Roof Above, a nonprofit serving individuals experiencing homelessness in Mecklenburg County.

Roof Above partners with faith communities and local organizations to provide shelter and meet basic needs during the winter months, operating winter overflow shelters from December 1 through March 31. These resource bags will help keep neighbors warm, safe, and supported during the coldest part of the year.

Community partnerships like this remind us that when we come together, warmth goes far beyond the weather. ❄️🤝

Our Community Impact Team has been hard at work assembling and delivering resource bags to support neighbors in need across our community. 💙

Each bag was thoughtfully packed with hygiene essentials, gloves, socks, hats, thermal blankets, handwarmers, chapstick, and Alliance brochures—providing both comfort and connection to resources.

These bags were distributed to local resource centers and White Flag Shelters, with special thanks to Nicole Ross, Community Impact Specialist, who delivered 75 bags to Street Outreach in Johnston County and 200 bags to the Fayetteville Day Resource Center.

Small acts of care can make a big difference—especially during colder months. 🧤🧣
