You & I Mindfulness Mindfulness is a perfect antidote for fast-paced, stress-filled modern life. You & I Mindness offers free access to mindfulness resources. No experience needed.

Open to the public too. Dr. Jamie Derrick a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center, accredited training program). She also spent 100 hours studying MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) with Jon Kabat Zinn and colleagues at the University of Massachusetts. She has taught mindfulness classes at University of Idaho and at UCLA to students and staff. She also offers classes in the Moscow community at the Nourish Yoga Studio. She has been offering community classes at the 1912 Center in Moscow this summer. She is a welcoming teacher.

Again this week, I will offer a mindfulness practice Wednesday (noon-12:20) focused on resiliency to face the overwhelm and the struggle in our lives. The practice calms and eases. And it helps us build ongoing inner stability; profound resilience --- so when we have troubles arise, we have a method to meet them with grounded strength.

Ok, friends. This past week has been one of great suffering. Our humanity aches. Can mindfulness solve this? No. But mindfulness offers a way to hold truth with grounded integrity and stabilizes us enough to hang onto what helps.

Please come for a meditation this Wednesday, noon-12:20 Pacific. I will offer a soothing, grounding practice for what we carry in our hearts.

I want to let everyone know that I'm starting my mindfulness drop-in again this week (Wednesday noon -12:20 PST). It is offered on zoom (for convenience). All are welcome.
This week's practice will be gentle, simple and focused on a simple, stabilizing approach to soothing our emotional rough spots.

Drop-in mindfulness is happening Wednesday, Dec 10, noon-12:20. Many of us are feeling the inner and outer intensity of the times, the season, the ending of the year. So for this practice we will drop in to restorative presence and touch into our own depths a bit --- reconnecting to the aspects of life where we feel whole.
