The Gift of Independence… Low-interest financing can make it possible
Assistive technology can significantly improve freedom, safety and quality of life for people with disabilities and their family members and caregivers. Hearing aids, a lift recliner, an accessible vehicle, a new computer, a ramp or scooter, or any number of other devices or home modifications can keep people in their own homes and living life on their own terms. But too often, the costs put these items out of reach for the people who most need them.

Idaho (and every other state) has a low interest financing program to help people afford the items that aren’t covered by insurance. Idaho’s Alternative Finance Program offers financial loans (minimum $500 to maximum $10,000) at prime interest rate, currently 8.5% interest, for up to 5 years, making many assistive technology purchases more affordable. In addition, we are now partnering with Northwest Access Fund, for loans up to $60,000 and 10 years for accessible vehicles. For more information, call Wendy at 208-885-6112.
