Avamere at Moses Lake loves to entertain our seniors! We are so grateful to have Santa and some of his elves join us to hand out gifts to our residents. They also enjoyed a buffet of desserts with eggnog and apple cider while socializing.

2020-present: Dr. Tsosie is a geneticist and bioethicist co-leading the first Indigenous-owned genomic research biobank. She is an advocate for Native data sovereignty and ethical AI use in health research.

Joelle Bearstail (Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara Nation)
2021-2022: Joelle is leading digital language revitalization programs using apps and VR tools for Native language immersion.

Their leadership shows the power of representation and cultural preservation in modern society.

Avamere at Moses Lake had an incredible time for Halloween!🎃Our Halloween Party was a fantastic success, and we absolutely loved creating the most unique and creative caramel apples together. It was wonderful to decorate scrumptious cookies with everyone!

The musical cake walk was a roaring success as well! Residents had a blast handing out candy to all our delightful visitors.🍬 Some of the residents got into the spirit by dressing up, too!
