We invite you to join us on March 31st at the pharmacy for a comprehensive cardiovascular screening event hosted by Rural Imaging Services.

This event was created with a clear purpose. This is the story behind why Rural Imaging does what they do.

"In June 2025, our partner’s husband, George, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 47 after collapsing at his job site in Moses Lake. Despite maintaining routine physical exams, an undiagnosed congenital heart defect was only discovered after his passing. In response, we are committed to providing advanced cardiovascular screenings to help identify potential concerns before they become life-threatening." -

RIS screening packages are one of the most comprehensive available in our area and include:

• A custom cardiovascular history questionnaire developed by a board-certified cardiologist (including BMI, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and detailed personal and family history)
• Carotid artery ultrasound screening
• Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening
• Peripheral vascular disease screening
• 12-lead ECG
• Limited echocardiogram evaluating congenital heart defects, ascending aortic aneurysm, significant valvular disease, and overall cardiac function (ejection fraction)

All findings are reviewed by Dr. Ashok Kumar of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Tacoma. Participants will receive a comprehensive, easy-to-read report with recommendations via mail or email within 7–10 business days.

Their goal is to provide meaningful, preventative insight into your cardiovascular health.

Meet Beth Frommelt, RPh! She is a staff pharmacist at Moses Lake Professional Pharmacy and trained in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy.

With 34 years of experience as a pharmacist, including 7 years serving in the Armed Forces, Beth brings both dedication and heart to everything she does. After years in traditional retail settings, she longed to truly see patients improve, not just manage symptoms. Today, she says this is the best job she’s ever had because she gets to genuinely help people and watch them get better.

When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and two daughters, loving on her dogs, or enjoying her creative side through sewing, painting, and dancing.

We are so grateful for Beth’s experience, compassion, and commitment to real patient care. Thank you for being such a vital member of our team 💙

The total ended up being $5.96/pound. One pound of ground beef has 1500 calories. That is enough to sustain most Americans since most Americans are sedentary.
