Dr. Alyssa broke her first cup at the end of November after being open for 5 years and Emily broke her first gua sha spoon 😂🫣

Winter is officially here!🐧 Curious what Traditional Chinese Medicine says about this time of year? Well, TCM says that it is the season of the Kidney and Urinary Bladder.

It is super important that we nourish both of these organs through REST and RECHARGE, even if we have a million and one things we want/have to do! Resting through this season allows us to do more during spring and summer.

Please allow for extra travel time as you and others navigate the cold, snow, and ice. If you have an appointment with me, please plan ahead and leave a little earlier so you can arrive for your appointment safely and on time. Not feeling rushed also helps you get the most out of your appointment by helping you shift into the parasympathetic state (where healing and relaxation occur) more quickly. Your safety always comes first, but punctuality helps us stay on schedule and ensures you get your full session.

Just to remind you of our winter weather cancellation policy: your safety is a priority. If travel conditions become hazardous, you may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty as long as you notify us as soon as possible (call the office 715-814-1244 or email dralyssa@equilibriumacupuncturewi.com). If roads are not severe, regular cancellation/reschedule policies still apply.
