-not all stomach bugs are the same
-the biggest risk is dehydration
-young children can lose fluids quickly
-hydration is priority, food can wait
-fluids FIRST. Always.

signs to call pediatrician:
•dry mouth
•fewer than 3 wet diapers in 24hrs
•no tears
•excessive sleepiness

Did you know fevers aren’t always “bad?” 🫣
It’s actually a good thing and means your immune system is doing exactly what it should do.

Did you know a “fever” is not a fever unless it’s 100.4 or higher? 😅

It’s not always necessary to run to the doctor if your child is running a fever. Here’s an article on how to determine if/when it’s time to go to the doctor with a fever. 🤒

Let's face it, fevers can be scary for parents. Learning what causes fevers and how to treat them will ease your anxiety and help you take control of the situation.
