Activity: Crafting Heart Shaped Door Decorations

Story: Mosaic Home Care Services visits are always a pleasure, and we value the time spent together. We crafted some very cute and easy paper heart chains and converted them into wreaths and door hangers.

Activity: Making Home Made Biscuits & Butter

Story: We enjoyed whipping up heart shaped biscuits and butter and reminiscing about the good old days of churning butter and getting flour all over the kitchen with family.

At our monthly Veteran to Veteran meeting, we shared a wonderful morning of donuts, coffee, and meaningful conversations, taking time to appreciate our shared experiences and check out MREs in a supportive and uplifting environment. Thank Maleah & AseraCare Hospice - Savannah!

Dimension of Wellness: Social Wellness

Activity: Little Christmas Celebration.

Story: Little Christmas is one of the traditional names in Ireland for January 6, more commonly known in the rest of the world as the Feast of the Epiphany.
In Ireland, this day is also known as Women’s Christmas. Traditionally, the work of preparing food and festivities falls on the women, so January 6 is a day for women to have some time for themselves. Women visit each other or gather in pubs, while the men look after the children for the day. What do you think of this tradition? Do you think it is something that should be observed in your country?
