Late post: In honor of 4th of July yesterday, our residents enjoyed their traditional ice cream social with mini flag cake bites. Today our residents enjoyed mini ice cream coke floats after playing bingo. We love seeing our residents smile. 😊

This week to show our appreciation to our CNA’s, we celebrated everyday with gifts, raffles, and many thank you’d for a great job they do for our residents. Thank you to the everyone who dropped off something for our staff and donated to their week. We are truly blessed! Thank you to the Dennis Kram family for the generous donation towards our CNA week. We greatly appreciate it. Thank you to the businesses and organizations for donating to our CNA week. This includes: Julia Machart advance home health, Hospice of South Texas, The Care Team Hospice, LoneStar X-ray in Victoria, Crossroads bank of Moulton, Kloesel’s Steakhouse, Bridal Rail - makeup bags, Don Poncho’s Mexican restaurant in yoakum, and Monica Oranday for 3 gift baskets for our raffle. Thank you CNA’s for all you do!

Resident enjoyed some fun in the sun exercises outside this morning on the patio . Playing ball and listening to the Polka Hour Radio Station. Such a beautiful morning! In the evening, they enjoyed their Happy Hour and Dominoes! Beer, coke and cheeto balls while playing dominoes.

In honor of National Police Week, our residents along with our President and Vice President of Resident Council wanted to do something special for our Moulton PD. Chief Mitchell Bennett arrived and We gave a Thank you card and had these delicious police car 🚔 and thank you cookies made for them. Thank you for all you do for our community and our facility. We ended nursing home week today with a Flashback Friday theme. We went back in time and celebrated with music played by David Simper, these delicious cookies made by Sweet Bakes by Stacey , chips & dip donated by Maria Hermes of Hospice of South Texas, and pizza donated by the Felip Nieto Family for staff & residents along with punch. Residents enjoyed a BBQ brisket on a bun lunch with coleslaw, potato wedges, & red velvet cake. 🍕💛💚📻🥰
