Peggy Ann Henley, 77, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Derwin Youngblood and Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be at Hardshell Cemetery.

Born on July 7, 1948, to Robert and Frances "Scoot" Crittenden Jeffreys, Peggy was a member of Donald Baptist Church. Above all Peggy loved her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Brian (Tonya) Jeffreys, Donnie (Paula) Eskridge, Thisa (Shawn) Smith, and Heather (Everett) Williams; grandchildren, Briana (Katie) Jeffreys, Ashlyn (Josh) Southern, Dakota (Mahala) Eskridge, Katelyn (Sabatian) Williams, Cruz (Alexa) Adame, Carmen (Keny) Adame, Dacy Eskridge, Bryson Jeffreys, Kendra Williams, Brody Rains, Ty (Cassidy) Blankenship, Harlie (Cody) McClelland; great-grandchildren, Jaycee Southern, Jaydenn Southern, Jameson Southern, Lorena Estrada, Elias McClelland, Asher Terry, Navy Blankenship, Piper Woods, Branson Woods, Dustin Jones, Emmy Jones; sisters, Wanda (Barry) Smith, Sandra (Mikey) Stutts, Phyllis (Gary) Grigsby; brothers, Keith Jeffreys; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances "Scoot" Jeffreys; Willard Henley; nephew, Frankie Smith.

Pallbearers will be Josh Southern, Dakota Eskridge, Sebatian Terry, Cruz Adame, Keny Estrada, Bryson Jeffreys, Richard Terry, and James Pierce.

The family extends special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Huntsville Hospital, especially the nurses in Trauma ICU, Dr. Najjar, Dr. Seamen, and Dr. White. We would also like to thank Amanda, Anna, Beth, and Victoria at Compassus Hospice.

Brett Dwight Baker, 58, of Birmingham, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025. The family is planning a celebration of life service at a later date.

Born on December 26, 1966 to the late Jack and Shelba Tucker Baker, Brett was an avid baseball and football player in his younger years. He received 84 awards while playing football including one from former Governor George Wallace. Brett loved the outdoors.

Survivors include his son, Devin Baker; sister, Kim Baker (Lorenzo) Bradford; brother, Mitch Baker; nephews, Nicholas and Ryan, and a host of friends.

Brett was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Baker; parents; grandparents, Pauline and Hubert Bice, and Harlis Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or a local Animal Shelter.

A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM on at Rutherford Cemetery with Dexter Rutherford and Mike Owens officiating. Burial will be at Rutherford Cemetery.

Lois was born on December 26, 1936 to the late Putman and Maggie Letson.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff Harville, Tim Harville, and Phillip Harville; grandson, Scott Harville; great-grandchildren, Kenadie Harville, Rylan Harville, Jase Harville, and Madison Harville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, YZ Harville; grandson, Chase Harville; her parents and six brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Toby Bradford, Keith Roberts, Keith Pierce, Tim Harville, Buddy Hill, and John Wayne Martin.

Mildred Louise Whitlow, 95, of Moulton, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with her son, Dr. Tommy Whitlow officiating. Burial will be at Montgomery Cemetery.

Born on November 16, 1929 to the late Everett and Mildred Simpson Stockton, Louise was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she was involved with the WMU, sang in the choir and was the pianist. She was also part of the Gideon's Auxiliary. Louise enjoyed horse racing, Andy Griffith, game shows and the Antique Road Show.

Wanda "Jennie" Linda Prater, 83, of Trinity, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her home. The family held a private graveside service on Sunday. She was buried at Friendship Cemetery.

Born on September 9, 1942 to F D and Hazel Odean Hill Gillespie, Jennie graduated from Speake High School. She had a successful career with Liberty National Life Insurance Company; where she earned many awards including Agent of the Year across the entire United States. Jennie loved homemaking, cooking, gardening, travel, reading, sewing, fishing and hunting for treasures. She was an elegant lady who loved everything that sparkled and wearing animal prints. She loved "tasty water", Gun Smoke and her family. Jennie had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh. Her love language was definitely gift giving and she always showered her people with her love. The world is a little less without her presence. But we all rest assured we will see her again in Heaven where we have all agreed she will be wearing a sequined velvet leopard printed track suit with matching shoes and hand bag.

Survivors include her husband Don Prater; children, John Erdogan, and Wendy (Steve) Koshowsky; grandchildren, Trice (Lin) Koshowsky, Donly (Jamie) Paz- Koshowsky, Ian (McKenna) Koshowsky, Solomon Koshowsky, Aliyah Prater Crews, Jordan Aldridge (Breanna), Hunter Aldridge; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Koshowsky, Gio Paz; and Macie Aldridge, sister, Louann Harris; twin brother, Wendell Gillespie; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jim Erdogan , and Jeff Prater; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Erdogan; brothers, Coleman Gillespie, Dole Gillespie, Luther Gillespie, Hobson Gillespie, and Delmer Gillespie; sisters, Zenola Shelton, Ewatha McGee, Nelly Hall and great grandson Carson Aldridge. Born on December 17, 1939 to the late John and Pauline Terry Davis, Shelby attended Hatton High School and retired from Brach's Candy Company. She was a member of Cornerstone Church where she was baptized in 2010.

Survivors include her son, John Wayne Martin; grandchildren, Allen Johnson, Alandis Johnson, Sarah Martin, Chris Martin, and Johnathan Martin; great-grandchildren, Aumi Johnson, Folsom Crum, Kouvr Huggins, and Wiley Martin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Shelby was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Johnson, Sr.; parents; sons, Donny Martin, and Allen Johnson, II; grandson, Derek Martin; brothers, Nathan Davis, and John Wesley Davis, Jr.; and sister, Peggy Jo Berryman.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Wendell Owens and Brandon Coan officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on November 19, 1965, to Richard and Pat Davis Coan, Michael was a graduate of Hatton High School. He worked for TMS at Nucor. Michael loved anything to do with cars and racing and Alabama Football.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Hill Coan; brother, Brandon (Shanna) Coan; aunt, Clara Moore; his dog, Buggerbear; and extended family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debra Coan; step-mother, Brenda Coan; brother, Ronald Joe Coan; and step-dad L.V. Abott.

Patricia "Pat" Ann Duke Rogers, 90, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday, November 07, 2025, at Moulton Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Moulton Baptist Church with Dr. Jesse Reeder officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on November 18, 1934, to Gordon and Eda Duke, Mrs. Rogers attended Fairfield High School. She married in 1952 and lived with her husband in England while he served during the Korean War. She worked in banking for seventeen years in Tuscaloosa, Decatur, and Moulton, Alabama. Pat was the former owner and manager of Rogers' Apartments in Moulton. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Moulton Baptist Church for almost 60 years. She loved flowers and took joy in gardening.

Survivors include her children, William "Bill" Howell Rogers, of Moulton and Sherri Ann Rogers (Larry) Peck, of Moulton; grandchildren, Amy Ann Peck (Scott) Stadthagen, Benjamin Allen (Kelli) Peck, and William Howell Rogers III; great-grandchildren, Collins Ann Stadthagen, Howell Allen Peck, and Ruth Ann Peck; sister, Nancy Duke Smith, of Talladega; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Eda Duke; brother, Hoyt A. Duke; and sister, Louise Duke Johnson.

Harry Houston Miller, 92, of Priceville, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 in Huntsville, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 01, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Hollis Retherford officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery in Town Creek.

Born on May 27, 1933 to the late Archie and Eleanor Milam Miller, Harry graduated from Northfork High School in Northfork WV and went on to join the Marines in 1953, where he served honorably during the Korean War. After service to his country, he and his wife Hallie relocated from San Diego to Angola Indiana where he attended Tri-State College and earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, Harry accepted a position with Chrysler in Huntsville AL where he worked alongside Wernher von Braun on the Apollo Saturn V Rocket Program at Redstone Arsenal. He also had the opportunity at Chrysler to participate in the aerodynamic and electrical design of the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona "high tail spoiler", where he spent a great deal of time with NASCAR "good ole boys" Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, the Allison Brothers and a young Rusty Wallace. He then went on to spend decades supporting various NASA Programs and received awards for the ATLAS 3 Mission, the MSL-1 Mission and most notably designing the electrical panels for the NASA Middeck Glovebox Integrated Microgravity Isolation Technology Program. Harry was very active in his church in Town Creek and then in Priceville until the time of his passing.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Margaret Kerby Miller; his daughters from his marriage to Hallie, Brenda (Darryl) Wagner, Vickie (Barry) Pruitt, and Julie (Karen) Miller; step-children, Sheila (Joe) Kasulka, Jeff (Wendy) Harris; grandchildren, Cory Wagner, and Britney Wagner; step-grandchildren, Breanna (Eric) Ow, William Kasulka, and Ashlyn Harris; brother, Archie McCoy (Brenda) Miller; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Hallie Miller; and sister, Veniella Perry.

Pallbearers will be Todd Miller, Joe Kasulka, William Kasulka, Jeremy Sherwood & Sonny Johnson.

The family extends special thanks to family friend Shea Bailey, and the nursing staff of Hospice of the Valley.
