During National Volunteer Week, celebrated each April as part of National Volunteer Month, we are proud to recognize the incredible impact of volunteer service and the individuals who help build stronger, more connected communities.
At Colquitt Regional Health System, we are especially grateful for our dedicated volunteers, affectionately known as “The Blue Birds.” These remarkable individuals give their time, talent, and compassion to support patients, families, and staff across our organization🐦💙
From lending a hand at Colquitt Regional Senior Care and assisting families in our gift shop, to supporting patients in oncology and same day surgery, and providing comfort through Colquitt Regional Home Care Services, the Blue Birds serve in so many meaningful ways! They also brighten days by delivering flowers through our hospitality department, greeting and guiding visitors, assisting staff with daily tasks, and offering a warm, friendly presence throughout our facilities.
No matter where they serve, our Blue Birds bring comfort, kindness, and a helping hand wherever they are needed!
This week, and every week, we celebrate and thank our volunteers for the difference they make each day. Your service does not go unnoticed, and our health system is stronger because of you!
