Today in 8 Points ~ Your Odyssey Plan

9 Years Ago I was ironically inspired by the tragic loss of my younger brother Brent, whom we had to let go of on this earthly plane following his su***de.

The deeply felt pain and spiritual awareness that occured channeled into the creation of my signature coaching program ~ Shaking Your Tree.

The Odyssey Plan was one of the exercises I engaged in from the book “Design Your Life” that I was reading at that time. The mindfulness and thought provoking exercise both took my curriculum to the next level and changed my life!

Today in our 8 Points of the Wheel ~ Gathering in Honor of Nature's Calendar zoom session we are going to engage in this life inspiring workshop so we can dedicate a little time to exploring “The Wild Card” timeline option.

✨10-11:30am CT Zoom Group ~ no charge

I’m doing this right now in my own life AGAIN, I can’t wait to go through this exercise with all of you today.

The last time I did this timeline envisionment ~ the insight and inspiration literally launched a HUGE BOLD SHIFT in my life path.

I quit my job at IFM, ended my marriage, I finished channeling and curating Shaking Your Tree, and hosted my first Sacred Circle Healing Retreat!

It’s time to envision the Wild Card Life again!

This is my era to create my Encore Career Shift and I’m using the Odyssey Plan, sacred astrology, global consciousness rising, intuition, and grounding through mindful meditation so I can hear my soul whisper and my guides with clarity.

So many powerful astrological openings are coming over the next 2-3 months, this is a brilliant time to envision ~ “How Good Can It Get?”

Join us today if you want to consider your own Timeline and growth trajectory for 2026-30!

My special guests today are Nicolle LaFleur & Grundter.

I had a recent viral and mold exposure…every time I get re-exposed or spend too much time around mold dust my face peels, it’s like my own little PVFS/CIRS meter. This week we explore the possible links the Vagus, Trigeminal, and Facial Nerve may have in these chronic inflammatory and immune challenging situations. Do you want to join the FSM & Resonance Medicine Group?

Come join us to learn more about Frequencies used in post-viral fatigue syndromes that are clinically useful for supporting a balanced lifestyle medicine approach.

When coupled with nourishing formulations ~ it’s a powerful way to fuel the mitochondria, improve oxygen delivery, and bring a return of energy and vitality to a chronic fatigue syndrome.

This is really important to know about! Stay informed and speak up if you are opinionated about Naturopathic Medicine training options for the next generation.

The naturopathic community is facing an unexpected and deeply concerning development this week.

The US Department of Education has proposed a rule change that would exclude the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from its definition of “professional degree,” dramatically limiting ND students’ access to federal student loans.

If enacted, this would sharply reduce federal aid, push future students into high-interest private loans, and ultimately shrink the pipeline of trained naturopathic physicians, clinicians who play a critical role in root-cause, nutrition-focused, lifestyle-based medicine.

As someone who has spent my career working alongside NDs, teaching them, and watching them transform patient lives, I find this profoundly troubling. Our healthcare system is already strained, and removing support for a profession delivering evidence-informed, preventive, integrative care does not serve patients or public health.

Many of you have noted that RFK Jr. has historically expressed support for naturopathic medicine and our shared emphasis on prevention and whole-person care.

That makes this moment even more disappointing.

Regardless of where any of us fall politically, undermining access to ND education is a step in the WRONG direction for a healthcare landscape that desperately needs more practitioners trained in nutrition, lifestyle, environmental medicine, and functional approaches, not fewer.

This is not about politics.

It’s about workforce, access, and the future of integrative medicine in this country.

If you’re an ND, work with NDs, or simply believe in the importance of training clinicians who understand systems biology, nutrition science, environmental exposures, and the drivers of chronic disease, now is the time to speak up.

The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) has created a simple portal to contact your representatives. It takes under two minutes, and your voice matters, especially before the public comment period opens.

Comment ND ADVOCACY and we’ll DM you the link or head to https://naturopathic.org/page/LegislativeActionCenter #/ to take action now.

Regardless of our individual backgrounds, MD, DO, ND, NP, PA, nutritionist, researcher, or student, we are all working toward the same goal: advancing a healthcare model that addresses root causes, honors biology, and improves lives.
Let’s stand together in protecting the training pathways that make this possible.

Huge congratulations to my ND school for securing a new campus location in Ptown!

National University of Natural Medicine just announced its new campus in Portland, Oregon!

From Dr. Melanie Henriksen, President of NUNM: “This move will allow us to create the warm, welcoming, and healing environment our community has long envisioned. Even more remarkable, we will own this property outright, free and clear of debt. In a time of uncertainty for higher education, securing our future without burdensome financing is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to the strength and resilience of our community.”

Join us in celebrating this great news! 🏢 Read more here: https://nunm.edu/2025/12/nunm_finalizes_campus_purchase/

Our internal clocks influence much more than sleep. Emerging research suggests that our gut microbes also follow daily rhythms, and their activity can shift based on when we eat, sleep, and are exposed to light. This review explores how timing may play a role in supporting metabolic function, hormone-related pathways, and immune communication through host–microbiota interactions.

When daily routines become irregular, the coordination between the body and the gut environment may shift. Researchers refer to this as “chronobiome” dynamics, and they are beginning to explore how aligning behaviors like meal timing, light exposure, and sleep patterns may support more synchronized biological rhythms.
