Surry Community Health Center is located in the foothills of the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. Mount Airy, NC – known to locals as “Mayberry” – is home to Northern Regional Hospital, which is located less than 3 miles from our facility. We are also in an ideal location to accept referrals from Atrium and Novant hospital systems. Surry is perfect for all residents’ needs, ranging from simple assistance with daily living, short term rehabilitation to the most medically complex requirements.

Shamrocks Across America! 💙🍀

Residents had a great time making shamrocks to send to other nursing homes and rehab facilities around the country and are eagerly anticipating receiving ours in return to decorate the activity room for St. Patrick's Day. We're starting off with ten different facilities and will be adding more to the list!

Enriching Every Day at Surry Community Health Center with fun activities like Murder Mystery Night! 💙

Staff, residents, and even a few family members had a blast when Jennifer Brown, daughter of Resident Wanda, came in for an interactive performance! We had a wonderful night mingling, sleuthing, and using clues to solve the crime. The "Top Detective" prize went to Brenda Bledsoe, pictured here with her daughter, Admissions Coordinator Kristie Brady (in red)!
