Finished up a great 40-hour Basic/Beginning Mediation Training this month with the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center. Anne Arundel County will have some terrific new mediators after their mentorship program has been completed! Thank you to the AACRC staff for giving the 3 of us (Martin Kranitz, Jay Knight, and myself) such a great opportunity!

The National Center for Mediation Education, Inc. is once again offering the 40-hour basic facilitative mediation training in Annapolis at the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center on Riva Road. The Training will be held over 2 weekends in October. If you are a community mediation center volunteer the fee is $400.00. If you are not a center volunteer the fee is $800.00 which includes a mentorship process by trainers with over 40 years and 24 years of experience. This training is good for teachers, mental health professionals, anyone with a legal background, human resource personnel, anyone in a leadership role, and anyone in the non-profit world. The training will teach you how to communicate more effectively with others as well as help those experiencing conflict. The training is consistent with the standards as sent forth in Maryland and will include a 2 hour ethics component. Contact me for further details.

We are offering the 40-hour Basic Mediation Training in Annapolis, Maryland in October.
This training meets the Maryland Standards and will be taught through both the private practice lens and the community mediation lens.
The dates are October 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27, 2024. Fridays the training is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays/Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The National Center for Education Mediation, Inc. and the Maryland Mediation and Conflict Resolution Center (MCRC) of Howard County are offering a 20- hour Parenting Plan Mediation Training the weekend of March 11, 12 and 13, 2022. The training will be held in Columbia, Maryland. If you have had the
40-hour Basic Mediation Training and are interested in this 20-hour training please contact either Kate Cullen at "kcullenmediator@aol.com" There are s few spots left for this small group training. The fee is $350.00 which includes all materials.
This is an in-person training and all involve need to be vaccinated and follow any CDC and local health department recommendations in terms of COVID. (This is the policy of MCRC.) For a registration form or additional information contact Kate at 301-606-4578.
