Rest and Ritual: Returning to what Endures
A one-day retreat for women
As we've been shaping the final flow of this retreat, I've been noticing what is present in me--and wondering what might be present for others, too.
This spring feels different. There's been a kind of restlessness in my body, a difficulty settling. I haven't always known what I need--even what to eat, how to move or even where I want to be. And I know I am not alone in that, especially in a time that feels so charged and uncertain in the wider world.
The one place I've found any sense of real grounding has been in nature. In the Forest something shifts. Things slow down. There's more space, more time--and in that I can feel myself again.
We use the word ritual and I know that can land in different ways. What we mean by it is simple: intentional, mindful practices that support us in being with what might be difficult--and in gently metabolizing what might feel like too much.
This day is an invitation to slow down, reconnect and create space for whatever is ready to emerge.
I hope you'll join us. I am really excited to share the forest and these beautiful practices with you.
