Therapy dog Thursday. Unfortunately our therapy dog isn’t providing any therapy…. At least I don’t think he is? Our first patient said that he provided therapy to Big Ben. Bonnie Lou had a scheduled Vet visit so she is taking a personal day today. Both therapy dogs should be back next week. Maybe Big Ben will provide some therapy???

The pediatric office just got a lot more interesting for kids and adults young at heart. Thank you to Ellie, Abby and Kylie for painting our sidewalk.

A great week for pet therapy. Big Ben is continuing to learn the job from Bonnie Lou. Big Ben and Bonnie Lou enjoyed wearing a persons glasses as well. Thank you for helping to train therapy dogs at SRHC. Along with medical students, PA and NP students.

Big Ben who is a Pyrenean Mastiff and Bonnie Lou who is a Bernadoodle, enjoyed Christmas Eve today. Thank you for a wonderful first day. Big Ben met a young toddler who shared her peanut butter cookie with him and Bonnie Lou showed him around the office. Surry Rural Health Center enjoys being a teaching site for two legged students and 4 legged students. Thank you to the patients and staff for helping train service dogs and medical students.
