We are thrilled to welcome home Martha Outz as our new Executive Director!

We say welcome home because Martha started here in our community about 16 years ago as a hospice home health aide. She then came onboard with Mt Arlington in 2012 where she became a medication tech. Then in 2015 she was our second Memory Care Coordinator. She stepped down in 2018, as she accepted her first Executive Director position and continued her education. She remained as a perdiem med tech until 2025 because she always kept Mt Arlington close in her heart.

Martha has certainly had a full circle moment by reuniting with our Mt Arlington Family and we’re so very fortunate to have her back home where she belongs!

"They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. For me, that "work" has been helping our residents smile, laugh, and dance. 💃✨

It has been my absolute honor and pleasure to plan so many experiences for the residents here at Mt. Arlington Senior Living. Seeing their joy has been the best part of every single day. As I prepare to move on to a new job, my heart is overflowing—especially because the residents turned the tables and threw a party for ME! 🎈🍰

I am truly blessed to have been part of this community. Thank you for the memories, the hugs, and the many, many dances. I will miss you all dearly!

While the snow was piling up outside at Mt. Arlington Senior Living, the warmth was only growing inside. ❄️❤️

Monday was all about "digging out" from the winter storm, but it was also about the incredible dedication of our team. Several of our staff members stayed overnight to ensure our residents had uninterrupted care and safety during the storm.

After the hard work was done, a few of our team members took a well-deserved break to join our residents for a "Sip and Paint" session. Seeing everyone—staff and residents alike—relaxing and creating together is what community is all about. We are so grateful for this team! 🎨🍷

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today, our hearts are twice as full as we have the distinct honor of celebrating a truly incredible milestone: Betty’s 100th Birthday!

Betty was surrounded by a beautiful circle of friends, family, and our dedicated staff to mark a century of life. We were also joined by some very special guests to help make the day official—a big thank you to Roxbury Mayor Shawn Potillo, as well as Ptl. Fernandez and Ptl.
