MASL is happy to be celebrating our resident Elizabeth Elsbree's 100th birthday 2/13 in our Community Tavern at 3-4pm! Her actual birthday is 2/14. We will be celebrating with her family, residents, staff as well as our local Mayors from Roxbury and Mt Arlington. We always say how lucky we are to have such amazing residents, and today was the perfect example. One of our talented residents took the time to sit down with our Activity Assistant, Stephanie, and show her the ropes of Chess!

We absolutely love seeing these connections and skill-sharing moments. It’s not just about the game; it’s about the bond. Watch out, Mt. Arlington—Stephanie might be a Grandmaster before the week is over! 😂👑

Last week was National Have Fun at Work Day, and here at Mt. Arlington Senior Living, we did exactly that! Our team got into the spirit with some friendly competition and team-building activities that had everyone in stitches.

The best part? Our amazing residents were there to cheer us on with plenty of applause and laughter! This week was also the perfect ending to our celebration of National Activity Professionals Appreciation Week. We had a wonderful treat yesterday at Mt. Arlington Senior Living. One of our very own Activity Assistants, Nikolai, took to the keys for a special piano concert! 🎹✨

Our residents and staff alike were blown away by the performance. It was such a joy to see Nikolai share his gift with us—and it’s safe to say Nikolai loved every second of being "the show!" We are so lucky to have such multi-talented people on our team.

At Mt. Arlington, we know that sometimes the best medicine has four legs and a cold nose! We recently welcomed back Mattie, a truly amazing therapy dog, along with her owner, Mike.

The impact of their visits is undeniable—Mattie brings a sense of calm and cheer to every room she enters. We are so grateful for Mike’s dedication to volunteering and for the way Mattie lifts the spirits of our residents and team members. Thank you both for all you do!

Our memory care residents had a wonderful time with our cupcake-making activity. From frosting to sprinkles, everyone loved getting hands-on and creative.

The best part? They certainly reaped the benefits of their hard work by enjoying the yummiest cupcakes afterward! It was a truly "sweet" afternoon for everyone involved. ❤️
