For patients with neuropsychiatric disorders such as persistent depressions, PTSD, and OCD, NCBI offers the convenience of online neuropsychiatric exams, cognitive and psychological testing that can be completed from the patient’s home.
Similar to in-clinic testing, the test results are compared to a normative reference database of individuals matching the patient’s age, gender, and education level as well as clinical databases to facilitate the accuracy of the diagnosis.
The results from the patient’s evaluation are analyzed by an AI program and interpreted by a clinical neuropsychologist. The patient and/or family member then reviews these results with the doctor to discuss the findings and treatment recommendations.
Online treatments include various forms of individual, couples and family psychotherapy including interpersonal and psychodynamic psychotherapy, systems-based therapy as well as cognitive behavioral therapy. Other treatments include social skills group therapy, behavioral therapy training for caregivers and psychopharmacological interventions.
