What is lymphedema?
Lymphedema is chronic swelling caused by a disruption in the lymphatic system. It can occur after surgery, cancer treatment, injury, or vascular conditions. Early intervention can help reduce swelling, improve comfort, and prevent progression.
Our Lymphedema Therapy services include:
· Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD)
· Compression wrapping
· Compression garment fitting
· Education and self-management training
· Individualized treatment plans
Why choose Waterman Village Outpatient Therapy?
· 60-minute treatment sessions
· One-on-one care with your therapist
· Four Certified Lymphedema Therapists on staff
· Accepts all major insurances
· Conveniently located in Mount Dora, close to home
A doctor’s referral is required for treatment. We also collaborate with leading lymphedema garment companies to ensure proper fittings and help patients select the right compression garments for their individual needs.
