After last month’s record-setting — or “1,000-year rainfall as described by some local officials” - Waterman Village immediately sprang into action restoring affected areas across its campus. “Even with the increased activity, Waterman Village is open as usual,” said Jeff Bassett, Director of Community Information, who shared that tours for prospective residents are continuing every day.
Waterman Village offers independent living duplex homes and apartments, an assisted living residence, a memory support residence, and a long-term nursing care and post-hospital rehabilitation center. The Waterman Village Home Health Care agency and the Waterman Village Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic serve not only Waterman Village residents, but also the general public.
“Our community, staff are residents, are strong,” Bassett said. “We’re excited to see any needed restoration being worked on and to keep sharing the Waterman Village mission and experience with those looking for their next home — or for home health care and outpatient therapy services.
