Let's chat about A Purposeful Moment:

A purposeful moment is when one or more persons briefly cross your path, with a specific lesson or role in your life's journey, or their life's journey, for quick interaction or some length of time until a message is complete. I like to call these moments, "God moments" or "Angelic moments". These moments, good or uncomfortable, are opportunities for growth whether through physically seeing something differently or hearing words in a different way as the message you heard before didn't resonate.

I had such a moment a few weeks ago. I met a person in a round about way by no plans of mine. I chatted a bit with this person. Something said in a specific way in conversation was a lightbulb "a ha" moment for me. As quickly as the message was received, the God moment ended.

Share with me below an encountered you had that was your "a ha" moment.

I was speaking with someone last week about my website and what I do ministering through angelic channeling, opening chakra, speaking to the living (John 5:24: "He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life".) and veil travel.

The question was asked, "What does this have to do with God?" My answer was everything. Some need verses to validate like Psalm 91:11-12; "For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." Others have said to me "You need God in your life." I DO have God in my life and Jesus is my Savior. I don't make up what I do, I am open to what God created me to do. He creates us in His image to spread His word, love and peace. That doesn't mean I have to be a Minister or Priest or Nun for example. God creates many ways for us to be servants and I'm honored and blessed to meet so many that are directed my way.

Peace be with you.

I'm working today on letters to my _________. There's a book from a keepsake collection of stories to share with children, grandchildren etc. Because mine is a surprise I'm leaving a blank above. Checkout www.letterstomy.com to see what I mean. You may like it too.

Anyway, at the same time, I'm working on my gratitude journal which ties into the letters above. "Gratitude is the feeling of thankfulness for what you have, and it is recognized as both an emotion and a virtue. It involves acknowledging goodness in your life, recognizing that sources of that goodness often come from outside yourself, and showing appreciation for kindness and good fortune. Practicing gratitude can lead to numerous mental, physical, and social benefits, such as stronger relationships, reduced stress, and a greater sense of well-being."

Today is about slowing down, pausing to truly see the people in our live, those around for the long journey as well as those around for a moments in the journey. "Take a moment to appreciate all the people who add value to your life, continuously showing you love and kindness" whether human or animal.

A quote today from The Buddha's teachings... "Remember to take care of yourself. You can't pour from an empty cup."

We think of self-care as eating well, getting at least 30 minutes of exercise daily, getting 7-8 hours of sleep each night, taking supplements, and getting our annual physicals to make sure our bodies are working properly but what about our souls and minds?

Have you considered angelic channeling, chakra realignment, reiki, a massage, a facial, visiting a stretch lab, pilates or yoga, meditating while relaxing in a float spa or deep breathing in a salt room, pottery or gardening. Maybe its going deep inside for healing through therapy. These are all amazing ways to nurture our souls and minds which in turn nurtures our hearts as well.

I'd like to share I spent an entire me day seeing myself through a stranger's lens by being photographed for the 40 over 40 Campaign - Photography for Women. As we age, we begin seeing someone in the mirror we don't recognize. Changes in our bodies as we age can create changes in our spirit.

Can we get Botox, lifts and tucks, injections and surgeries? Of course we can but not everyone can afford it initially and afford the maintenance once we get started. 40 over 40 is about accepting ourselves where we are today, celebrating the bumps and bruises from our journey along the way, and celebrating where we are going.

I have almost 63 years behind me and 30+ years ahead of me. I'm counting my blessings and I'm thankful for all the scars, blemishes, wrinkles and imperfections on the outside and the hurts, wounds and scars on the inside. I'm finding joy in living with where I've been and love with whom I'm yet to become.

If you'd like to do some soul work, angelic channeling, chakra realignment or veil travel through meditation, look for my website Mystic Whispers - Readings with Amy and look for a photographer in your area that is participating in 40 over 40. You are worth it!

Have you heard of Angel Studios? I highly recommend it if you haven't. Many actors and actresses that you may have seen over the years are accepting roles in Angel Studio movies and TV bringing wholesome family viewing to your home and community.

Tonight I watched the Cokesville Miracle, based on a true story from 1986. In the end, we are remineded:

2 Kings 6:16, the prophet Elisha tells his terrified servant, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them". The meaning is that God's spiritual army, comprised of angels and divine power, far outnumbers any human enemy, encouraging the servant to replace fear with faith and to trust in God's protection.

I have experienced God's spiritual army many times and through my experiences and the teaching of my angels, it's why I do what I do.

Peace be with you.

What Fall Colors Mean for the Soul 🍁

As the trees turn gold, crimson, and amber, nature reminds us that there is beauty in letting go. Fall colors aren’t just a seasonal display — they speak to the soul. They whisper that change is natural, even necessary. That shedding what no longer serves us can be graceful. That rest, reflection, and stillness have a place in growth.
In every falling leaf, there’s a quiet message: slow down, breathe deeply, and trust the cycles of your life.

What is good for your soul?

Meditation?
Breathing exercises?
Spa and calming music?
A movie that allows you a good cry?
Doing deep work with your therapist?
A facial?
A massage?
Getting your hair done?
A walk in nature?
Comfort food?

My answer is yes to them all. And today because is overcast and cool outside, I'm making some comfort food that I'll enjoy after I check off some items from the list above.

What would you add to the list?
What might you prepare comfort food wise? Please comment below!

Sometimes endings don’t come with closure — just clarity.
Not every door is meant to stay open, and not every silence needs to be filled.
Trust what’s closing. It’s making space for what’s next. 🤍
