Fastener skills don’t start with buttons and zippers. 👕✨

Before kids can manage snaps, buttons, zippers, and buckles, they need strong foundational skills—like hand strength, coordination, and visual-motor integration.

Our Clothing Fastener Skills Roadmap breaks down what skills come first so dressing tasks feel less frustrating and more achievable for kids.
When we build the foundation, fasteners get easier. 🙌

Colder weather means we’re seeing more coughs, colds, and sniffles around town. As temperatures drop, it’s a great time to remind families to bundle up, wash hands often, and keep kids home when they’re sick to help stop the spread of illness.

If your child isn’t feeling well or you have questions about symptoms this season, we’re here to help. Stay warm, stay healthy, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need us!

🦠 Flu Season Is Here 🦠

Flu season typically peaks in the fall and winter, and we are starting to see an increase in cases. The flu can spread easily, especially in schools and daycare settings, and symptoms can come on quickly.

Common flu symptoms may include:
• Fever or chills
• Cough or sore throat
• Runny or stuffy nose
• Body aches
• Fatigue
• Headache

If your child is experiencing flu-like symptoms, please call our office so we can help determine next steps.

Getting a flu vaccine, practicing good hand hygiene, and keeping sick children home from school are important ways to help reduce the spread this season.

As always, we’re here to help keep your family healthy 💙
