Boil water notice has been lifted! Yeah!!

The citywide precautionary boil water notice has been officially LIFTED! All water samples have come back clear from the laboratory showing the City’s water supply meets all quality and safety standards.

We know this past week has been a challenging one, and we want to sincerely thank our residents, businesses, and visitors for their patience, understanding, and cooperation while testing and recovery efforts were underway.

Crews will continue working on road repairs and flood recovery, but this is a big and positive step forward for our city. Come out, dine local, shop local, and see firsthand that the heart of Mount Dora is still shining

We're open and have lot's going on here in Downtown Mount Dora! Stop by and see what we've got on sale this weekend!

Our City’s charm has not gone anywhere. Mount Dora is open, active, and ready to welcome you! Downtown shops, restaurants, W.T. Bland Public Library, community pool and parks are open and operating safely as testing continues.

• Friday, Oct. 31 – Downtown Trick-or-Treating, 6–8 p.m. (S. Donnelly St. between 3rd & 5th Aves, and 4th Ave. between Royellou Alley & Dora Drawdy Alley)

• Saturday, Nov. 1 – Fire Station 35 Open House, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. (3200 County Road 19A) – station tours, demos, kids’ activities, and Sparky the Fire Dog!

• Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 1–2 – Mount Dora Plant & Garden Fair at Donnelly Park, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. each day 🌿 MountDoraPlantandGardenFair.com

🚗 Getting Downtown:
While repairs continue along a section of Donnelly Street, there are multiple alternate routes available into the City. Please use detours and continue to shop local, eat local, and explore local. Mount Dora continues to shine and we thank you for supporting the small businesses and community that make our City someplace special.
