Good Morning!
As I sit this morning, pondering on the year past and the one just up ahead in a few days. The memories of Christmas’s past and loved ones no longer here with us, and as sad as that makes our hearts it’s just a part of life.
We are only here for a season, I pray I have used my season well, I pray I have touched someone’s life for the better.
Yes, we all have regrets and things we wished we would have done differently.
But take this time you have left and make it count!
People will make resolutions all over the world before midnight on last last day of December, but how many of you will follow through when it gets too hard?
Looking back on how it use to be…
When I look at the church world today I wonder what Jesus thinks… does he ask - where’s my altar you used to kneel at? Where’s the choir that used to sing the old hymns?
Where’s the love you use to show to one another? But now, it’s a gathering - just another social gathering…here get your coffee, oh, take a donut to the pew with you.
What happened???
When did our Sanctuaries become Resturaunt’s? Who voted to take out the altars? Who voted to replace the pews with chairs so it doesn’t look like a Sanctuary?
Well, I’ve been given every feeble excuse anyone has ever heard, but they won’t fly when you have to face The Almighty and give them to him!

I want to educate you all on a few scriptures this morning and what you do with them is totally up to you.
Excuse # 1 - Well, we all eat at church because we didn’t have time for breakfast at home.
The Word of God on that now!
“And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.”
1 Corinthians 11:34 KJV
Excuse # 2 - Well, things have changed and we have to change with the times so people will come.
The Word of God on that now!
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
Hebrews 13:8 KJV
“For I am the LORD, I change not;
Malachi 3:6
We can accept His Word and walk in it or everyone can do whatever makes their flesh feel good, but just remember everything has consequence’s.
“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.”
Jeremiah 6:16 KJV
Thank you for reading this far all of you that did, thank you for spending your Sunday morning with me. God bless you all and give you the strength to obey the Lord and his word! Amen! ❤️🙏
