As of this posting, Morrow County is still showing a level 2 snow emergency. We will be in the office tomorrow, 1/27. Nothing currently on the schedule is urgent, so don't feel bad if you need to reschedule if you can't make it safely. Just call and we'll get your appointment moved.

IMMUNIZATION SHORTAGE: WE NEED YOUR HELP!
It's been awhile since I've mentioned the fundraiser, but we desperately need your assistance! 🙏Vaccines for private insurance are insanely expensive! We are currently out of RSV vaccine for our most vulnerable population. Not even our local health department has this one due to high cost and poor reimbursement! We also just ran out of the pneumonia vaccine for commercially insured patients, which is part of the routine infant series at 2, 4, 6, and 12-15 months of age.
I CANNOT order more of these, or any other commercial vaccines, until I pay off the current invoices; just shy of $15,000! However, we need more doses IMMEDIATELY!
I know budgets can be very tight this time of year, but it's also the season of generosity and giving 😇🎅⛪️ The money is not for me, but needed to provide protection for our youngest babies during this illness prone season.
It doesn't take a large donation. If everyone who viewed the last fundraiser post had just given $10, we would have raised over $50,000, but most people just click and keep scrolling. The campaign has only raised $2300, not counting a very cherished private donor who gave $1000 over the summer.

PLEASE, any amount you can spare could help us toward purchasing more vaccine to keep our littlest ones out of the hospital this season - (RSV bronchiolitis is the number one cause of hospitalization in children under 2 years old in the U.S. and it circulates from October through April every year in this part of the country).

It is NOT felt to be harmful, just may not work as well as expected. Please check who manufactured your version and the lot number as pictured or call your pharmacy to check...

Influenza Vaccine update:
We found out a couple days ago that VFC lost our order for Medicaid flu, and it has been reordered. It should be available by next week.
We are also currently out of commercial insurance flu, as our shipment for Monday was grounded by a snowstorm, then it got left in the warehouse an extra day in Columbus, so had to be returned due to risk of excess temperature ruining the lot. We should also have this again by next week.
So if you have been waiting on flu vaccine, give us a call to schedule next week.
