Beginning in June, my session rates will increase by $10.

Appointments made (and kept) before this date will be honored at the current rate.

Thank you so much for supporting my small business—it truly means the world to me.

I love what the tourist season does for our small town ❤️ Unfortunately, it doesn't translate well for Glow Massage. I am by appointment only, a one woman show, and often don't have same week availability. I'll still be happy to chat, and will have several recommendations for you to continue your relaxation quest with 🙂 Thank you for your interest...vacation massages are the best!

Keep in mind:

Deep tissue does not equate firm pressure. If you want deep tissue, it will rely on how much your tissues can relax. If you want firm pressure, it will rely on how strong your therapist is.

I can do deep tissue, but I can only do so much pressure.

This is why a "deep tissue massage" is not a service I offer. I focus on relaxation with the option of a therapeutic approach.

Relaxation is routine-based with your preferences in mind & my know-how at play.

The therapeutic approach adds a layer of intuitive tension-seeking that includes access to all my tools & modalities.

I've got a pretty new rug at the shop, leftover Easter candy in the treat bowl, and have been booking about two weeks out.

Starting in May, my hours are shifting to between 12:00 and 6:00 Monday, Thursday, and Friday with one Saturday a month made available.

As always, thank you for booking with me ⭐️

If you've taken a tumble, been in a bumper thumper, or anything that has caused inflammation or swelling: pulls, tears, sprains etc...I'm not going to lay hands on you before 48-72 hours has passed.

Injury might be lurking, and until the swelling goes down, we can't know for sure if massage is appropriate.

Check with a medical doctor if you've been injured, then come see me once it's safe to do so.

I'm not emergency services. I'm not a doctor. Massage is awesome, but it could be damaging in some scenarios.

Love y'all ❤️

The more I work with someone, the better I can hone in on how their body moves and holds tension. As I learn their body, and their body begins to trust my approach, the results can be longer-lasting and have greater effect.

This leads into a part of my philosophy that consistency is key! That consistency looks different for everybody, of course, but building a healing routine sets us both up for success.

I've been seeing a handful of clients regularly since the onset of my career. Those folks might not all be cured of their physical ailments, but through years of dedication to massage, they have become more in tune with their bodies and are able to communicate their needs much more clearly. I'm also more comfortable trying new techniques on folks I've known because I know what they can tolerate & how their body typically responds.

Consistency can begin as easily as rebooking with me at the end of your current appointment. Spur of the moment appointments have become difficult to accommodate. Currently, I've been staying booked about 3 weeks in advance.

Last minute requests are still welcomed. Massage doesn't always have to be like clock-work. It all depends on the goals you have for yourself. People do cancel & I keep a list of folks to contact in case that happens.

I know this is a long post, and I'm glad if you've read this far. Just know I'm grateful for any and all of you who have given me the opportunity to work on you. However, if you really want to reap the most benefit from your session, you should certainly rebook with me or any other bodyworker you trust ❤️

Regarding upcoming winter weather event...I have already rescheduled my appointments originally made for Monday. I'm hoping that gives any crazy road conditions time to clear up.

However, if power is out or conditions are not clear...or if you've had to miss work or stay at work & life gets topsy turvey & you just don't think you'll be able to make your massage this coming week, reach out & I'll get you cancelled or rescheduled 😊

Stay warm & stay safe.

I haven't been posting availability lately because I'm already booked until the week of the 19th.

As always, let me know if you'd like to be notified in case of a cancellation. Also, let me know if you want notified in case of Saturday availability 🙂

Massage & Me

My name is Jessica (Saveall) Rutledge, and my interest in massage spans half of my life! Due to my own issues, I’ve been getting massages since my early twenties. In my early thirties, I had developed a curiosity for massage as my own personal career path. However, for one reason or another, I put it off. It wasn’t until the Fall of 2018 that I was able to make it a reality. I enrolled at Radiance School of Massage located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and about a year later, I was licensed!

For once in my life, I truly enjoy what I do. Bringing healing, relaxation, and comfort to my clients is truly the most fulfilling work I could ever aspire to carry out. I chose to name my practice “Glow Massage” because of that look most people get after a session...that rested, mildly intoxicated, and pleased look. I love it!
