When I first found this beautiful storefront in my hometown, I felt something bigger happening beneath the surface.

With all of the space, I knew that it was going to be possible to do more than just massage here. I had a vision of people coming together. Whether it would be through yoga, art, music, or just sharing common interests.

As time goes on I am able to share my little piece of serenity with many more people and I am so grateful. I am in awe of all of the new folks that I have met and that I am able to be a part of such a beautiful community.

Not only have we created a space that enables us share our gifts but through our space here at 87 E Main, we are also bringing business to Mount Joy.

I was passing by one night after class and i saw our yoga instructor and her family eating dinner in Peten Guatemala (delicious!). On a separate occasion, I walked by Twisted Bine Beer Co. to see participants congregating together in joy after their sound session. How cool is it that I kind of caused that?! 🤯

Its amazing what can happen when we come together. I am excited to watch what we have built continue to grow.

If you have gifts to share or have any ideas or ways that we can all get together and thrive in this space, whether it be a book club, a fellowship, an art class or a plant club, please reach out to see if it could be the right fit for us. I would love our space to be used as much as possible when I’m not hands on!

Shout out to Sunshine Radiant for having the most people in the shop that I have ever seen last night.

“You’ve got a green thumb!”

I hear this so often at my shop, and it might be true now, but it wasn’t always.

Six years ago when I graduated from the Lancaster School of Massage one of my teachers gifted a small cutting of a pothos plant to each one of us graduates.

He said:

“As you water and nurture this plant, it will grow in the same way that if you “water” and nurture your business, it will grow.”

(Or something to that liking 😉)

He was right! My pothos is now growing long limbs and has provided many new cuttings for me to share with friends. My business is flourishing as well as my green thumb.

But it all started with one idea and one plant. Just like any hobby or aspiration, it’s all about that work that you put into it and the consistency that’s kept over time.

I am so grateful to all of the teachers, clients, and friends that I have in my life 🥰
