Everyone is welcome & accepted in our yoga classes, Spanish classes, wellness retreats and YTT - they are multi-level & honor each individual’s wisdom.

Note that the Monday Beginner class is full and the Tuesday Beginner class only has 2 spots open. Intermediate on Wednesday and Advanced on Thursday have more open slots. All Spanish classes are at 6:45 pm

All classes at Lorenzen Studios mind-body studio have the goal of building community, and our Spanish classes are no exception! Our year-end celebration took us to for a dinner with 2 native speaker guests & conversation 100% in Spanish, including a chat with the charming owner!

Our first Small Business Saturday Open House was wonderful! We have so much gratitude for all of the businesses who joined us - Hair Dreams Salon, Blue Magnolia Massage and Bodywork, Cedar Street Coffee Company, Soul Ancestry, and A Touch of R & R! And, of course, we are so thankful for our community, Lorenzen Studios friends and members, and everyone who attended. 💖

The promos are good through tomorrow 11/30, and the prices without the promos are good for a bit longer, but get your membership or pass soon before prices increase so we can hire more instructors & offer more classes in 2026! 🤩

Small Business Saturday ✨Business Spotlight✨

For our last Business Spotlight before our Small Business Saturday event, we would like to reintroduce our Owner, Founder, and Teacher, Charla Lorenzen:

"Hi! I’m Charla Lorenzen, an experienced Spanish professor, ACE-certified fitness instructor, and yoga teacher. My mission is to inspire others to never stop learning about and practicing a yogic lifestyle as a means to reconnect to their inner light and also to all living beings, in turn making the world a more harmonious place where all are healthy, happy & free. I am a lifelong learner, as well as a teacher and teacher trainer. I hold a PhD in Foreign Language Education, taught Spanish at the college level for 25 years, and am a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) and lead trainer for the Lorenzen Studios Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, where the motto is “Learn the lore, find your zen, and share the joy of yoga”. My studio, Lorenzen Studios, is a true mind-body studio with events to foster healthy minds, bodies, and spirits!"

"Meet Melody, the owner of Hair Dreams Salon and the true backbone of our salon family! Melody has been leading Hair Dreams with passion and vision for 16 ½ years and has been doing hair for 19 years. Her specialties are Highlighting, Medium-Long Precision Cuts, and Shorter Razor Cuts.

Get to know Gina, owner of Soul Ancestry:

"Gina Heysek CHt - Hypnotherapist specializing in past life regression and finding your soul purpose.
Gina’s own past life journey began as a teenager in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Standing on Little Round Top, she knew she’d been a Civil War soldier who‘d died charging uphill. Since that day, her curiosity has led her to become a truth seeker. Trained by Paul Aurand of the Newton Institute, she received her certification in May 2023 and has facilitated over 200 sessions since May 2023.

Gina serves as an inspiration and a way-shower for everyone around her. Her integrity and dedication to personal growth extends to all aspects of her life. She offers her spiritual guidance freely as part of her sessions, hoping to help others on their journeys. Gina is the mother of a 17 year old daughter, Stella, and spends her time at the river or with their two beloved cats."

Get to know Jen, owner of A Touch of R & R:

"I have been a Special Education Teacher since 1997, and throughout my career, I’ve always carried a deep interest in holistic healing and relaxation. My Reiki journey began in 2019 during a very personal time—my sister-in-law was battling esophageal cancer, and I wanted to find a way to help ease her pain. I discovered Reiki, began my training, and was grateful to see her find comfort and relief through our sessions.

Inspired by this experience, I continued my studies and went on to earn my Reiki Master certifications. Wanting to broaden my ability to support others, I later added a Reflexology certification to complement my healing modalities.

Today, my practice offers both Reiki and Reflexology with the intention of promoting relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. I provide personalized services and customizable packages designed to meet your individual needs, helping you find the comfort, peace, and healing you deserve."

Get to know Cedar Street Coffee Company! From the owner:
"Hi! My name is Scott Sheaffer and I started Cedar Street Coffee company in 2022. What began as a curiosity about coffee roasting turned into a hobby, and then into a (very) small business which I run out of my home. I love sharing my smooth, full bodied, freshly roasted premium coffee with others, and I always smile when I hear comments like “I never knew dark roasted coffee could taste this good!”
When I am not roasting delicious coffee, I work as an Engineering Manager for a large corporation. I live in Elizabethtown with my wife, Nicole, a cat named Masha, and a dog named ThelmaLou. In addition to experiencing new local pubs and eateries, we enjoy travelling, and have been to all 50 states and 9 countries (so far!)"
