Check this out! Marc Nutton, one of our incredible therapists at Lantern Lane Farm Counseling will be leading this. You and any friends or family who may benefit from this are cordially invited.

Like me, I'm sure you're intimately acquainted with Peter's words "Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you." I know the scriptures, but sometimes I need help applying them. I am so grateful for my counselor who helps me get past blind spots in seeing God, myself, and others clearly. We are excited to offer the same thing for you! Starting on April 6th, Restoration is partnering with Lantern Lane Farm for a 4 week faith based group therapy centered on anxiety. Marc Nutton, a Christ follower and licensed therapist, will be leading us and the total cost is $125 for all 4 sessions. There are only 12 spots left, so if you or someone you know would benefit from this opportunity, check out the details here on Church Center and sign up today!

Lantern Lane Farm had the opportunity to learn and get some incredible resources from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation around Internet Crimes Against Children.
Some of these resources included:

•MISSINGKIDS.ORG
•NETSMATZ.ORG
•ICACTASKFORCE.ORG
•CONTENT.TNICAC.ORG
•CYBERTIP.ORG
•KIDCENTRALTN.COM

Opportunities like this only make us more knowledgeable as we provide care to children, teachers, caretakers, guardians, and everyone in between. We are so grateful for the TBI and all that they do!

Ending the day with gratitude can actually change the way your brain functions. When you take a few minutes to reflect on what went well, your brain releases dopamine and serotonin — chemicals that support feelings of happiness, calm, and emotional stability. Over time, this simple practice helps retrain the brain to notice the good.

Reflection also gives your mind a sense of closure for the day. You’re reminding your brain of moments that mattered; a conversation, a small win, a moment of peace.

Gratitude doesn’t mean the day was perfect. It simply means you’re choosing to recognize the good that existed within it.

As the day closes, take a moment to ask yourself "What is one thing today that I’m grateful for?"

Thoughtful therapy, much like the blooming of a tree, is a natural, non-linear process that requires time, patience, and the right environment to flourish.

This is a tree you will see right when you pull onto the property of Lantern Lane Farm.

While the "bloom" is a visible sign of progress and is often anticipated, the true work of therapy, like a tree’s growth, happens beneath the surface. We sometimes wait for the beautiful bloom forgetting all of the amazing things it took to get there.

If this is something that resonates with you, we would love to hear about it! As always, if you would like to come visit one of our licensed therapists, please visit the link in our bio. Remember, although you can't see it, the bloom is coming.

Integrity and gratitude. 🤍

Two words that don’t always get talked about together, but they change everything when they are.

Integrity is choosing to live aligned with your values, even when no one is watching.

Gratitude is choosing to recognize the good, even when life feels heavy.

When we bring integrity and gratitude together, something powerful happens: We stay grounded in who we are…and we stay aware of what we’ve been given.

In this episode of the Lantern Lane Podcast, we talk about how healing isn’t just about surviving hard seasons. It’s about walking through them with honesty, humility, and thankfulness for the growth that comes with it.

If you’re trying to live with both strength and softness, conviction and appreciation, then this conversation is for you.

At Lantern Lane Farm, healing doesn’t only happen in an office. It happens in a peaceful, quiet space where clients can exhale.

We are a place where people come to process grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and the weight of stories they’ve been carrying alone.

Individual Counseling for children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and personal growth.

Family & Couples Counseling to help families rebuild communication, restore trust, and strengthen relationships.

Our farm setting allows clients to experience therapeutic work alongside horses; offering powerful breakthroughs in emotional regulation, trust, and connection.

We walk with individuals and families through loss, crisis, and life-altering events-providing a safe space for processing and healing.

Faith-Integrated Counseling (upon request) where we offer biblically grounded support woven into evidence-based therapeutic practices.

At Lantern Lane Farm, we believe healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported.

If you or someone you love is carrying something heavy, you don’t have to carry it alone.

At Lantern Lane Farm, we believe healing happens when we pause long enough to reflect, and that’s exactly what this first episode is about.

We are so excited for the very first episode of The Lantern Lane Podcast: The Work of Hope and Healing!

From a counseling perspective, setting a word or goal isn’t about perfection or pressure. It’s about creating a meaningful pause. The new year, or honestly, any new season, gives us a natural moment to reflect, reset, and realign.

Listen now, share with a friend, and let us know your Word of the Year in the comments!

Because healing isn’t about pressure.
It’s about direction.
