Through her time at Lantern Lane Farm, Brittney found more than just support for her daughter. She found the guidance to grow as a parent herself.

With the help of her therapist, Kerri, she learned how to lead her daughter with confidence, structure, and love. What began as uncertainty became strength, and what once felt overwhelming became manageable.

Because healing doesn’t just happen for one person, it transforms the whole family.

Here’s a number most people miss: a 5K is 3.1 miles, and the average person takes roughly 6,200–7,500 steps to cover it. Add a modest ruck (10–20 lbs), and your effort can jump significantly—without adding a single extra mile. Small loads, steady pace, big impact.

Why does that matter? Because every step we take together carries meaning beyond the finish line. Those thousands of steps become conversations started, resources shared, and hope offered. You don’t need to run fast or go far to make a difference—you just need to show up with intention. Walk, ruck, or run your pace, your way, and let your steps speak gratitude for those who have served.

If you’ve been waiting for a “sign,” this is it. Lace up, pick your distance, and move with purpose. Every step matters, and yours can change someone’s day. Register today, invite a friend, and let’s make your steps count.

Register now and tag the person you’ll take those steps with. (Link in bio)

For Brittney, one moment at Lantern Lane Farm changed everything.

She realized that when her daughter felt secure in her care and direction, her anxiety began to ease.

Through counseling and the supportive environment of the farm, Brittney discovered what it means to lead with peace and give her child a greater sense of safety.

Because when a parent finds peace, the whole family begins to heal.
