Have you ever been told you have Degenerative Disc Disease? Fun fact: it is actually a completely normal aging process!

📚DDD refers to the drying up, and wearing down of the intervertebral discs due to aging and repetitive stress.

📚 Almost everyone after the age of 35-40 has some degree of degeneration, even if they don’t develop symptoms! 🤯

📚 Think of the discs as a jelly doughnut. As we age, the jelly dries up and thickness of the doughnut decreases 🍩

📚 Common symptoms can be numbness, tingling, aching pain that worsens over time, stiffness
