Meet Maddie.✨

Maddie has always lived a life of service. After spending 13 years in the military - including two overseas tours - her mission today looks different, but the purpose remains the same: showing up for people and strengthening the community around her.

As a Community Relations Coordinator in Indiana, Maddie brings lived experience, honesty and compassion into the work she does every day. She believes in the power of one conversation and in helping people feel supported as they take steps toward healthier, more stable lives.

Creativity is also an important part of Maddie’s journey. Through painting, mixed media and design, she rediscovered a creative spark and often encourages others to explore creative outlets as a way to find balance, purpose and expression.

From serving her country to serving her community, Maddie continues to lead with heart and we’re grateful for the care and commitment she brings to the people and communities we serve. 💙

Art Group at State College Medical is always a fan favorite each month, but around the holidays it's extra special! 🎁 Participants in this month's group made handcrafted holiday gifts for the special people in their lives.

Patients express how meaningful this annual tradition is, saying that it makes them feel so good to be able to create and give gifts to the people that support them in their recovery. Thank you to Counselor Lindsay Kolk for facilitating this group and being such a great creative mentor for the participants!
