Escape Training Club Escape is a fitness community where all new beginnings can happen for anyone. Let's Create Possibilities! We are South Jersey's functional training center.

Many training and fitness centers may label their program to be functional. However, when you look closer into their program, it has no real transfer to life or sport. From sport performance to weight-loss and quality of life, we utilize our assessment and training program to pinpoint the training to your needs and goals. As you begin, a FMS Screen is conducted to evaluate your movement patterns and give us a baseline for where you are beginning. The screen is series of functional movements designed to evaluate proper bio-mechanics. Each screen score is the tool used to identify limitations and asymmetries. Corrective exercises and core movements help you move properly and improve your daily living, as well as overall fitness performance. The performance phase is where preparation meets a greater challenge. This is how transformations are created. Isn't it time to break through the self-imposed limitations that have held you back and kept you of living freely? Begin training for life with a newly conditioned mind and body. A friend recently texted me asking me what kind of exercise she should be doing to lose body fat, and also grow her glutes at the same time. All of the accounts she was following online were giving her conflicting information and making her confused/frustrated with her body and her lack of results. Now, exercise science me rolled my eyes at this question because we know it’s a fact that you have to be in a caloric surplus to put on muscle, and in order to lose body fat you have to be in a caloric deficit, so these two things are impossible to be done at the same time. However, the friend in me could relate to this. How many times have I gone down the rabbit hole or false information on the Internet? Too many times that I can count. And every time it always left me frustrated/confused with my body. Even when we know the information to be completely false, we chose to believe that the scientific truth doesn’t not apply to us, there is a secret, or something is wrong with our bodies and what we are doing. So to these questions I always answer “unfollow any account that makes you feel bad about yourself or compare yourself to others, and try to create your goals around overall health, quality of life, performance and function”. When it comes to aesthetic goals, trust the truth and genetics, It’s almost always simpler than you think. And if you see butt enhancement creme advertised by an influencer on a fitness Instagram, don’t buy it, I promise it won’t work 😂
