This may look simple, but it is by no means easy.

This posture exercise created by David Weck opens the chest while challenging your core, back, and shoulders all at once. Movements like this can make a real difference in posture, stability, and breathing mechanics.

Try it yourself. You’ll quickly see that even 5 reps can humble you.

Al absolutely getting after it. The past few months we’ve been seeming such great improvements! Went from not being allowed to stand or weight bare due to a pressure sore to taking steps on his own! Along with seeing his muscles activate like crazy 💪

Joel walking in on the walker felt familiar in the best way. It brought us right back to when our own Matt Fumo first walked in with one. No warning, no big moment planned… just showed up and did it.

That kind of moment doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a huge accomplishment, but more than that, it’s the start of a new stage of recovery.

This is where it shifts.

You stop thinking of walking as something that only happens at Project Walk, and it starts becoming part of your everyday life. Anywhere you can, whenever you can.

That’s the difference.

We always say do what you can at home, and that applies at every stage. It’s not optional if you want to keep progressing, it’s a must. And when you reach this point, the walker opens that door even more. It gives you the freedom to work on your gait without needing hands on assistance every second.

Joel stepping in with the walker isn’t the finish line.
It’s the green light.
