We would like to thank the amazing and thoughtful community members who purchased and wrapped Christmas gifts for our residents! The attached video shows only a quarter of the gifts that were donated. The residents will have a great Christmas knowing how cared for the are by the community! Through a new partnership with the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System, eligible veterans can now enroll in the Garden of Life adult day health care program at the Livingston County Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation under VA Community Care.

The Garden of Life provides medical support, therapy, and a safe environment for adult loved ones needing a little extra attention during the day - while also giving caregivers time for work, rest, or personal responsibilities.

The Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation offers 24-hour skilled nursing services ranging from short-term, post-acute rehabilitative care to traditional long-term care. Residents receive care in a manner that addresses the needs of the individual. Recognizing the potential in every individual, we focus on turning potential into ability, discomfort into comfort. We strive to promote an atmosphere with activities that involve friends, family, volunteers, and pets in creating a homelike environment for residents.

Location

Located in northern Livingston County, the center is easily accessible from Interstate 390. We offer the qualities of rural life and the security of being only 30 minutes from major hospitals in Rochester and Noyes Hospital in Dansville. We invite you to visit our center for a tour.
