(Trigger Warning: GRIEF) Last night, I was pi**ed, remembering my loved one in a specific moment. Tonight, I cried while trying to stifle my feelings, remembering Christmas memories of them while listening to Carols in a public place (NOT desirable)...

I share this, not to say, " Look at ME, I need *attention and sympathy*," but to shine a light on grief, it's complex and complicated nature, that hits at random moments, when you least expect it.
I FEEL NO SHAME* because to miss someone you love fiercely and to be in a s**t storm of conflicting feels is a testament to what they meant to you and to bear witness to who they were in your life.

What are you giving your attention to? Whatever you give you're attention to, if going to affect you. If it's news reports that rob you of your peace or fuels anger, turn it off. Gossip? Trash talk? Don't participate. Being informed is one thing. Being infected is another.

I recently started following this guy. It started with a good laugh. I came to appreciate his authenticity, his originality, ....his weirdness. How he embraces all of them. And he has beautiful flowers and thoughtful anecdotes. It makes my day.

He wears it proudly.
