🚨 As of January 15th, 2024, at 7:00 am, these are the current updates:
• Family Care Center Mount Pleasant (located next to Herschels) will be open on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 8 AM. Please call 903-577-CARE for same-day appointments.
• All of The Clinics of Titus locations will open at 10am on Monday, January 15, 2024. To see a complete listing of these locations, visit the link above.
• All Outpatient Departments at Titus Regional Medical Center, including Imaging Plus, TitusFit Wellness Center, Outpatient Rehab, Center for Women’s Health, and Cardiac Rehab will open at 10am on Monday, January 15, 2024.
• Scheduled surgeries, GI Lab Procedures, and Cath Lab Procedures will be delayed until 10 AM on Monday, January 15, 2024.
• The Pediatric Clinic, PA will be CLOSED on Monday, January 15, 2024.
• Northeast Texas Pediatrics will be CLOSED on Monday, January 15, 2024.
• Wellness Pointe clinics will be CLOSED on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Way to go Dr. Cuenca

Rosa Cuenca, MD, FACS of the Center for Women's Health at Titus had the distinct honor of presenting at the recent American College of Surgeons meeting in San Diego, California. Dr. Cuenca proudly represented the rural segment of our population and spoke on the need to focus on education and screenings in key populations that need care, awareness, and advocacy.

2022 has brought changes. We welcomed our new center leader Caitlyn Stroman RN BSN- Clinical Nurse Manager. We are excited to get behind her as she leads us through the post Covid recovery period and all the wreckage it’s left in its wake. But we know we will serve even more of our community members with chronic wounds as we put this pandemic behind us. Call 903-434-4800 if you or a loved one is living with a wound.

As we welcome Caitlyn, we say a sad goodbye to Stephanie. Stephanie has taken care of the wound care needs in our area for many years. An expert in healing difficult wounds and trained in Hyperbaric Oxygen, 1457 non-healing wounds are now HEALED! Stephanie, we will always cherish working under your direction and from myself, the team and certainly the patients that make up the 1457 wounds healed (and maybe 1457 amputations prevented), we wish you all the success as you move on to this next chapter in your life. Four years of healing.

Thank you Stephanie Judith Taylor on four faithful and dedicated years of healing our community. Your expertise is only matched by the compassion you have for your patients. When you became affiliated with THE WOUND HEALING CENTER at TITUS REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM in 2018 as “the” full-time provider, we have greatly improved continuity of care for our wounded population. We salute you for the quality care you provide and look forward to all the lives we will change in the future.

We want to reach and treat everyone in our region that suffers from a non-healing wound - it’s this team with Stephanie leading us that makes us a “platinum” quality center.

Meet your Wound Care Provider! Come Heal With Us!
Stephanie Taylor is a Family Nurse Practitioner at The Wound Healing Center at Titus. Stephanie is from Mount Pleasant and graduated from MPHS in 2003. She attended NTCC where she graduated with an Associates Degree of Science and an Associates Degree of Applied Science in 2006. Stephanie worked as a Registered Nurse in the operating room at TRMC while continuing her education. She graduated from UT Tyler in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing Degree in 2012. During her career as a Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie has worked in otolaryngology and internal medicine. She has specialized in wound care since 2018. Stephanie enjoys spending her time with her husband and beautiful daughter. She is an active member of her church. She enjoys being outdoors and visiting state parks. Stephanie enjoys wound care because "Healing wounds help patients regain their independence!" Stephanie states her career in wound care is very rewarding. She delights in helping patients through the process of healing and looks forward to seeing them ring the "Healed" bell.
