Central Michigan Orthopaedics proudly welcomes Jenai Cairnduff, PA-C to our team!

Jenai Cairnduff has been a Certified Physician Assistant since 2023. Originally a native of Bay City. She completed her undergraduate collegiate studies at Grand Valley State University in 2020, majoring in Biomedical Sciences. While at GV, she was a 4-year member of the Women’s Basketball team. Choosing to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant, she then attended Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia, completing her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating in 2023, she moved back to the area to begin her career. Jenai enjoys treating patients of all ages, from pediatrics to the elderly, and addresses a wide range of orthopaedic injuries and conditions.

Central Michigan Orthopaedics is seeking a Physician Associate to work directly with our well-established Orthopaedic Surgeons, who specialize in general orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Under the supervision of a surgeon, you will be responsible for examining patients, ordering medical and diagnostic testing, diagnosing illnesses, and counseling patients and their families.

Central Michigan Orthopaedics is looking for a full-time hardworking & dedicated Medical Assistant, CNA or Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team of caring professionals.

Qualified candidates must have superior communication skills, the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work well with others. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, along with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple providers.

This position contributes to the smooth operation of the business by attending to clinical tasks and patient care. The various tasks that this position completes are under the direction of the Practice Manager and Physicians, but are not limited to:
• Preparing the examination rooms
• Obtaining patient vitals
• Documenting chief complaint and medical history
• Assist physician with exam when necessary
• Perform testing and procedures as needed
• Complete patient chart, lab slips, prepare prescription slips
• Cleaning and properly dispose of clinical supplies
• Cleaning patient care areas including restrooms & break room
• Patient education
