Venus enters Capricorn — December 24 through January 17 🕯️✨

After her final square to Neptune at the very final degree of the zodiac, Venus now crosses a threshold.

This morning, on Christmas Eve, Venus leaves the dream and steps onto solid ground — entering Capricorn, where love asks to be lived, not just imagined.

If the past few days stirred tenderness, nostalgia, longing, or even disillusionment, Venus in Capricorn says:
Let’s build something real with what was revealed.

This is a quieter Venus.
A wiser Venus.
One who understands that devotion is shown through consistency, care, and presence.

During this transit, you may notice:
• A desire for reliability over romance-as-fantasy
• Relationships clarifying around mutual effort and respect
• Love expressed through acts rather than words
• A renewed focus on commitments, boundaries, and long-term values
• A pull toward what feels mature, stabilizing, and enduring

Venus in Capricorn doesn’t rush.
She asks: What is worth tending? What is worth staying for?

This is a beautiful time to:
• Invest in relationships that feel supportive and reciprocal
• Strengthen foundations — emotional, financial, relational

Good morning, beloved witches and vigil-keepers...

Today is Mōdraniht.
The Mother's Night.

Yes, in the old Norse and Germanic traditions,
the night before Yule (the longest, darkest night)
belonged to the Mothers.

The disir. The norns.
The divine feminine ancestors
who weave fate and tend souls.

On Mother's Night, you don't sleep.
You 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁.

You sit in the dark.
You tend the fire.
You honor the threshold.

Because Mother's Night is the birth canal
through which the sun must pass
to be born again.

And birth requires witness.
Birth requires 𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹.

This is what we've lost, witch...
the art of sacred waiting.

We want transformation instantly.
We want rebirth without labor.
We want the light to return
without having to sit through the dark.

But Mother's Night says:
"You must wait with me."

Because the darkest night is a gestation.

Everything you've been becoming
all through autumn's descent,
all through winter's stripping down...
it's forming in this final darkness.

And you can't rush it.
You can only sit with it.
Keep vigil. Tend the flame.
Trust the Mothers to do their work.

So what are you gestating, beloved?
What's forming in your longest night
that will be born when the light returns?

A new version of yourself?
A truth you've been afraid to speak?
A life you've been too scared to claim?

The Mothers are weaving it in the dark.
But they need you to wait with them.

With intention.
With presence.
With the fierce attention of a woman
who knows something is being born
and refuses to look away.

So keep your vigil, witch.
Sit in the dark these final nights.
The Mothers are working.
And what they're birthing
is 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Today, 4 days shy of my 40th birthday, I got my first tattoo. It’s been in my creative consciousness for awhile, awaiting the right design and the right artist to bring it to life. I cannot say enough about and what an incredible artist she is.

Why the dandelions?

Since childhood they have been my favorite “flower.” I would pick them for my mom, make flower crowns for my sister, cousin and I.

I always make a wish when I find a puff.

The tattoo represents the infinite nature of life and rebirth.

The flower: the sun- radiance, joy and life ☀️
The puff: the moon, transformation and dreams 🌙
The seeds: scatter like stars across the sky, symbolizing hope, dreams, and energy itself journeying to new places ✨

Dandelions are resilient: they grow in soil that needs to be nourished and healed, before they move on. They overcome harsh conditions. They can grow through concrete.

They are medicine. As pollinators and for people- every part of the dandelion can be used for nutrition or medicine.

The flower of life: represents universal creation and interconnectedness of all things in the universe.

This tattoo speaks to my own journey, resilience, and ever deepening connection to life and spirit.

No one told me that parenting would feel like holding up a mirror to every part of me I thought I had buried.
The broken pieces.
The quiet wounds.
The unspoken fears.

My kids don’t just ask for snacks and hugs.
They ask me, without words, to look at the parts of myself I’ve ignored for so long.
They remind me of how I was once small too.
How I also needed safety.
How I needed someone to say, “I see you. I hear you. You matter.”

And sometimes, when I get triggered or overwhelmed, it’s not because of them.
It’s because my inner child is still begging to be held.
Begging to feel loved.

Being a parent isn’t just about raising our kids.
It’s about learning to raise ourselves too.

To all the parents healing while raising little ones I see your courage.
This is not easy, but it’s beautiful.
You are rewriting everything.

Welcome to the Energy of the Flower Full Moon

She rises

bold

unapologetic

in the deep dark waters of Scorpio

stirring the sacred within

calling you home to truth

to release

to rebirth

to rise.

The Flower Moon 🌕 named for all that blooms
but this one?
She asks you

What must die
so your truth can live?

What must fall away
so your soul can unfurl?

Scorpio doesn’t play in the shallow
She pulls you in
beneath the surface
into the dark
into the ache
into the parts of you ready to be set free.

the shake-ups are real.
Sudden shifts
