Every month, each of our Care Coordinators selects a team member who goes above and beyond in supporting the individuals we serve and their fellow coworkers. We are excited to announce February’s Employees of the Month! 👏

Lead staff Alyssa Apsey Daws is very thorough in her training and demonstrates exceptional skill when working with individual she supports. She is consistently caring, compassionate, and attentive to her consumers unique communication and support needs. Her communication with the support team provides detailed and excellent training to team members, particularly in supporting individuals who are blind and deaf. She approaches her work with patience, empathy, and a high level of compassion, ensuring quality care and dignity to the consumer she supports.

Katlyn Maglosky has been a dedicated member of CHS for nearly three years. She is dependable, consistent, and genuinely caring in the support she provides. She creates engaging activities for her respite families and builds strong, positive relationships. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her consumers’ schedules while balancing another job, showing incredible commitment and heart. We truly appreciate her dedication and the difference she makes every day.

Holley O'Brien is incredibly detailed and always on top of the paperwork that needs to be completed. She truly strives to do her best and makes sure she’s doing things right by reaching out with any questions or concerns. She leads her team with compassion and respect, always setting the example. Holley is patient and observant, and that attentiveness helps guide her staff in providing the best care possible. She communicates clearly and consistently, keeping his entire care team stay up to date and informed. Holley, we see you and we appreciate you. Thank you for the heart and leadership you bring every single day.

Gage Prather has proven to be an outstanding asset to the individuals he supports, consistently contributing to their growth, independence, and overall success. He goes above and beyond by teaching new life skills, helping consumers achieve their personal goals, and guiding them in setting and pursuing new goals for continued development. Gage is kind, dependable, and outgoing, building strong, trusting relationships with both consumers and his team. Thank you Gage for all you do!

Kim Ringler does an amazing job supporting her consumer and consistently goes above and beyond to help them meet their goals. Her dedication, patience, and strong communication skills truly make a difference every single day. She’s always willing to lend a hand to her coworkers and is incredibly reliable — often stepping up to cover shifts when needed. We are so grateful to have Kim on the CHS team. Thank you for all that you do!

February 17th is celebrated as National Random Acts of Kindness Day 💛

Roger spreads kindness by visiting his local recycling center to help others. If they need help carrying recyclables from their cars to the building and or sorting items into the correct bins, he is happy to help!
