🏅 Honoring Our Heroes 🏅
On Veterans Day, our campus came together for a moving celebration of service and sacrifice. Our independent living residents gathered for wine and cheese before the ceremony, where our Executive Director, Sean Davis, shared personal and touching stories of growing up in a military family.
The ceremony featured speeches from three of our Resident Veterans, and the unveiling of Resident Artist Marsha Russell’s painting, “Normandy Sacred Ground,” which will be displayed as a tribute to those who gave so much. We also honored our POW/MIA table in remembrance of those who did not return.
The highlight of the day was the unveiling of the South Bay Wall of Honor, where each Veteran was recognized by name, presented with a medal, and a beautifully designed card of appreciation. It was an emotional and unforgettable tribute to our heroes. ❤️💙
