On August 24th, two of our residents pitched the idea of starting Hymns & Fellowship! The first Sunday it was held, our residents lit up with the idea of an in-person service after Covid. It has evolved each Sunday with more songs, more residents, guest speakers from our own facility, residents choosing to sing a solo song, new ideas, hymns from their childhood, a bulletin, greeters, prayer requests each week .... the list goes on and on. It has been a transformation that touched on an an element of our community we were lacking.
Immense gratitude to two residents with a dream, staff each Sunday that make it happen, the kitchen for providing refreshments during fellowship, guests that have volunteered their time, and I know it will grow with each passing month.

Holiday Bazaar today! Always a wonderful time 🎄. We are biased, but our vendors are the 👌 best.

Christmas Crumpets & Conversation was festive and fun!

We purchased a Rendever, which is a virtual reality system that is designed specifically for people living with Dementia! We tried it for the first time with a few residents and it was AMAZING! We traveled to Africa to frolic with giraffes and hung out with some adorable highland cows! We are so grateful to bring these experiences to our beloved residents.
