Deliberate by Design.

This case didn’t move forward the way we initially expected. During the consultation and design phase we realized that starting points needed to change.

Instead of forcing a timeline, we paused- refined the foundation- and let the functional and esthetic design guide the rest.

The most important decisions aren’t made with a drill. They are made before it’s even touched.

The road less traveled.

In an age of speed and instant solutions, this case requires patience.

During the design phase with and , we recognized that moving forward immediately would require aggressive and unnecessary tooth preparation and reduction. So, we chose a different path.

We were able to refine the foundation and create tooth position and space that doesn’t require any preparation.

It wasn’t the fastest option, but the right option.

Every case begins with a diagnostic work up and diagnostic wax up- a full blueprint of the final design before any tooth is touched.

This allows us to study:
-proportions
-symmetry
-harmony
-conservation

The goal is always the same- an intentional, natural result in alignment with the goals and vision of the patient.

We’ve always had a treasure chest for a kid, or adult, to grab a toy or treat as they leave the office. Maybe a slappy hand, bouncy ball or even a pair of sunglasses. But today that treasure chest got an upgrade!

We finished up this smile transformation this morning with 10 no preparation porcelain veneers! We were able to:

👉 improve the symmetry
👉 enhance the volume
👉 rejuvenate the color

A really wonderful transformation here for this patient. With a predictable system, we were able to improve the bite, the function, comfort and esthetics.

She was referred to our office by another dentist (thank you!) because the patient was struggling with broken teeth and a collapsed bite. We planned and planned, and were able to help guide this patient toward a nice restorative result.
