What an incredible day!!!!!
On Sunday Three Oaks had the absolute pleasure of hosting several local bodywork professionals and the weekend cohort massage students from SŌMA School of Therapeutic Massage in Traverse City for a learning lab!

Thank you SŌMA students! Thank you to our friends and neighbors in the manual therapy & bodywork community for coming together to help guide these students and budding new massage therapists into the amazing world of massage therapy and bodywork!

Join Marin at 5:30-6:45 for YIN Refresh!
🧘 In this class you can find stillness, strength and balance.
🧘‍♀️ YIN positions ask you to surrender and unfold naturally. Getting into deeper layers of self. Both physically, through fascial unwinding, and metaphysically, seeking what is beyond the physical body. Mind, emotions, deep healing. Making space.
🧘‍♂️ Vinyasa/Flow links movement to breath in a dance-like sequence that can become a moving meditation. Building heat, strength and resilience. Grounding you further into your practice. Whatever that may mean to YOU.
🧘 Restorative yoga is smoothing out the edges. It is a settling back into your body. It is being held gently as our bodies recalibrate into a new state of being.

If you’re looking for a practice that is more than a long list of postures without purpose, you may very well find it in this practice.

As always… this class is *donation based* and open to all levels and abilities.
