We are proud to work alongside such dedicated and compassionate professionals. 💙 Central Michigan Community Mental Health is now accepting nominations for the Art LeTourneau Award, and we would love to see our amazing staff recognized for the incredible work they do every day.

The award recognizes efforts to include all community members including individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness, or substance use disorder, served by CMHCM, to live richer lives as included members of their community.

The award was created in 2001 to honor Arthur J. LeTourneau, of Midland, who died in 2002. He was the administrator of services for individuals with disabilities and acting director of Midland-Gladwin Community Mental Health Services. At work and on his own time, he helped individuals with disabilities and challenges to live richer lives in their communities. He was a pioneer in community-supported living and collaborated with community agencies to benefit many individuals.

Award Criteria:
• Individual or community organization
• Fosters collaboration and creativity in effort to include all community members
• Helps individuals live richer lives as members of their community
• Collaborates with community agencies and viewed as a team player
• Goes above and beyond what is expected in the normal performance of job or organizational responsibilities
