Titus Regional Medical Center has invited Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) to join our ongoing strategic evaluation process. CHC will be reviewed alongside the two organizations already under consideration as we explore the best long-term path to strengthen our financial stability, expand services, and protect local access to high-quality care. We remain under Non-Disclosure Agreements with the two original suitors.

This process began because rural healthcare faces real financial and operational challenges, and we’re committed to ensuring long-term stability for Titus County and our surrounding region. Over the past several months, our leadership and Board of Managers have been in in-depth conversations and site visits with two potential partners, and adding CHC allows us to fully explore all options.

“The Board’s responsibility is to carefully and thoroughly evaluate every sustainable path forward for the future of healthcare in our region,” said Patricia Boeckmann, CEO of TRMC. “Bringing CHC into the process allows us to more fully explore our options and ensure we are making the most informed decision possible.”

We expect to continue this structured review over the next several weeks, with a final decision anticipated in early 2026. In the meantime, nothing changes in our day-to-day operations. We will continue all current relationships with our partners, caregivers, and community. No immediate changes are anticipated.

“We know how important TRMC is to the health, vitality, and economic stability of this region,” said Don Lowry, Chair of the TRMC Board of Managers. “Our goal remains the same: to secure a future where our patients and community have dependable, local access to care for generations to come.”
