It's been a very happy holiday season at The Artisan at Mount Pleasant! 🎄

This season has been defined by generosity and celebration. We gathered for a wonderful Hanukkah dinner and opened our doors for our "Home for the Holidays" event. We also had fun getting creative for the SRG Senior Living company-wide door decorating contest.

But our proudest moment was coming together to pack 76 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We hope your day is filled with that same spirit of joy from those you love! 🎅❤️

Sometimes the best part of a community is what you don’t know you’ll need yet. 💛

Our resident Evie shared how an unexpected hip fracture became easier to face thanks to The Artisan’s on-site partner, FOX Rehabilitation, just steps from the front door. When recovery time came, support literally came up to their floor, bringing therapy and care right to their apartment!

You can’t always plan for life’s twists, but having integrated care and Fox Rehabilitation on campus means you don’t have to face them alone.

Our Zest Director Haley Peters doesn’t start with a blank calendar... she starts with her residents!

Haley's process begins within the first two weeks of move-in, sitting down one-on-one to learn each person’s story: what they’ve loved doing in the past, what lights them up now, and what they’d like to try next. From there, she brings everyone together in monthly Zest planning meetings, asking questions like, “What makes you smile?” and “What’s missing that you’d love to see here?”

Our programs exist because someone in the community asked for them. It’s thoughtful, intentional, and personal… and it’s a big part of why life here feels so warm, welcoming, and uniquely “us.” 💛

Our residents and teams at The Artisan Mt. Pleasant have been busy decking the halls, and now we want your help choosing our community’s winning door.

Seventy-six shoeboxes are officially packed and ready for delivery! 🎁🎄

Our residents spent the last several weeks focused on Operation Christmas Child, and the effort required a full community push to make it happen. We used "Bingo Bucks for a Cause" to sponsor essential items and even took cardboard back to their rooms to construct the boxes by hand.

The Friday Bible Study group was a huge driving force behind the project and helped us blow past last year's total of 50 boxes! We gathered in the Art Studio to label and organize everything before our pastor transported the haul to Bibleway Baptist church

It is incredible to see what happens when we set a goal together!
