Benefits of taking vitamin D:
▪️Boost mood
▪️Supports bone health
▪️Boosts the immune system

If you have consistently taken vitamin D and levels continue to be low, keep in mind that your liver needs to convert it from a fat soluble nutrient to water soluble, so your body can use it. If you’re not absorbing it, you may need liver support - something I test every client for. 💕

Dr. Lita Lee goes on to say that a high-fiber diet can only be achieved by unprocessed, unrefined foods. We should be getting around 30-35 grams of fiber a day.

Self-care is often quiet, unglamorous, and deeply impactful.
It is about long-term health, not quick fixes.

I honestly have mixed feelings about electrolyte drinks. Sometimes they’re helpful (excessive sweating on a really hot day for instance), but keep in mind that real, Whole Foods contain electrolytes as well. Also, electrolytes are minerals, so while I focus on getting as much nutrition as I can from my food, I do take a quality vitamin and mineral supplement to make up for things like soil
depletion. Your body needs pure water to aid in detoxification, so that is where my focus is when it comes to hydration.

Drinking coffee on an empty stomach first thing in the morning is not ideal. ☕

It can raise cortisol levels, disrupt blood sugar balance, and irritate digestion. Research shows that black coffee before food can impair blood sugar control, increasing the risk for metabolic issues over time. It may also worsen anxiety and place extra strain on adrenal and thyroid function in sensitive individuals.

The simple fix:

Eat something first, even a small breakfast, then enjoy your coffee. 🥑 ☕️

Your hormones and digestion will thank you.

Who is going to start eating something before you drink coffee from now on?🙋🏼‍♀️
