In yoga we aspire to practice the Niyama’s, or ‘positive duties and observances’ both on and off our mats. One way to do that is by cultivating the second Niyama, Santosha – the ability to embrace contentment in the present moment. 🧘‍♂️✨

This internal commitment and its close cousin Ahimsa (self-love 💖), celebrates the beauty of simply being, simply being here in the now. Practicing Santosha on the mat means we look for gratitude in the present moment – in every breath, every stretch, even every drop of sweat and shaky hold of the pose – honoring our value, unconditionally, exactly where we are.

Up for a new challenge?

There's still time to sign up for the newest 45 Class challenge at PGY -
and, everyone who finishes will be part of an amazing prize!

Here's what to do:
Attend 45 classes between now and March 21.
Report on your anonymous act: 'Do something nice for someone else, and don't get caught.'
Get double credit - 2 classes instead of one - for attending our Sound Bath (coming soon!) or for attending classes on a holiday.
Attending PGY Book Club also counts!

The first place finisher will receive a month of yoga at PGY for FREE and everyone who finishes will be invited to attend a PGY boat excursion to Capers Island. We had a great time doing this last summer!
