Mandolin is another ardent supporter of individuals with developmental disabilities, as we recognize !

Mandolin stayed put for almost 30 hrs during 2026's snow-mageddon snowstorm in January while . Being recognized for incredible work ethic, she jumps right in to complete tasks, no questions asked.

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, and we are recognizing our outstanding staff, Like Debra, who work day in and out to support individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

Debra recently stepped up when a one house unexpectedly lost staff. By being enthusiastic when helping and training new staff, her coworkers never missed a beat!

Jay recently met with his friend, Todd Ferguson, and began his first lesson learning how to properly handle and train a therapy dog!

His dog’s name is Zeppo, and Jay has started hands-on work as he starts building foundational skills in handling and training.

This is a meaningful opportunity for him to help others while also strengthening his own skills. In time, he may pursue additional training and, over time, potentially participate in therapy dog outings once he has developed sufficient skill and experience!

Even though today felt like exactly the opposite, we're at 5 weeks of extra winter!

Tylor wanted to see Phil on Groundhog Day last week, and went to Gobbler's K**b!

He also met "Big Chill", one of the innermost members of Punxsutawney Phil 's Punxsutawney Groundhog Club!

Our future VCS rock band members were happy to attend Band Together Pittsburgh's Christmas Party last night!

Everyone was still in the holiday spirit, despite the event being pushed into January! Thanks to Band Together for putting on such a wonderful event.

Robert won GOLD at this season's Special Olympics Pennsylvania - Three Rivers Region Bowling Tournament this past weekend!

Before Thanksgiving, we made sure to give thanks to our second cohort of nationally certified staff through the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals - NADSP.

At our second edition of this luncheon, each of them recieved a t-shirt, and some told incredible stories about how their certification reinforces their ability to continue .
