We're wrapping up ANCOR by showing the best of the best, with honors!

For our whole agency, Melissa Diehl is our 2025 Direct Support Professional of the Year!

Melissa exemplifies dedication and perseverance in the face of everyday challenges. She is always available to support individuals as well as any DSPs in her area. She never fails when with disabilities in feeling included, and empowered!

Having worked as an assistant manager in multiple homes, she is also the preeminent candidate and role model for a future management position in our biggest region.

We were happy to surprise Melissa during a regional meeting with some gifts, and a lot of memories to keep for wherever she goes next. She will also be attending a future Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources conference!

Thanks for celebrating our decorated DSPs of 2025 with us!

It's almost the end of ANCOR !

Our penultimate DSP of the year, this time in our Complex Behavioral Supports division, is Waylon Bish!

Her superiors found her very deserving of the title, as she has saved one house's schedule from call offs all year & was the only staff to help out with an extra house when asked.

She is personable & does fantastic with any individual, especially in scenarios requiring crisis intervention. Even though she is only one year deep in her career as a DSP, she has shown incredible ambition. Keep , Waylon!

The fourth DSP we'd like to recognize during this fine ANCOR is Lisa Selbaugh, our Intermediate Care DSP of the Year!

She has only been here 7 months, but has made quite the impression! She takes initiative, and is always the first one to volunteer when out in the community. According to her manager, Her work ethic, patience, and dedication to the house in which she works and the individuals are exceptional!

Keep up the great work, Lisa!

We're smack bang in the middle of ANCOR !

Scott Warrick is our 2025 North West Region Direct Support Professional of the Year!

He has shown staff how to build personal relationships with individuals, picks up shifts when needed, comes in early and never calls off. On top of completing every field in the health records of the individuals he supports, he also ensures that the house is clean for anyone who might be visiting.

Share you enthusiasm for Direct Support Professionals with us on this third day of ANCOR !

Our Non-Residential Direct Support Professional for 2025 is Maggie Coss!

Maggie started with aspirations of helping us launch our Supported Living program, and she followed through!

She has assisted four individuals in understanding what moving out on their own would look like, what they would need to expect, took them apartment hunting, helped them with budgeting, buying supplies, and has helped them box up their belongings and moved them into their new apartments!

She is by helping them live out their best lives independently, and advocates for them whenever she needs to. Thank you, Maggie!

It's day two of ANCOR !

Today, we honor our South West Region DSP of the Year, Morgan Cooley!

Without hesitation, Morgan has worked at any house that needed support, picking up shifts at a handful of group homes.

Morgan was also recently promoted to a Manager position for her diligent work taking on extra responsibilities and going above and beyond to support all the individuals in the area.

As we recognize our outstanding DSPs this week, We are thankful to continue seeing recognition from our state for all of their outstanding work.
