WE ARE NOW RESUMING ELECTIVE ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES WHILE CONTINUING TO PRACTICE ENHANCED INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES IN OUR FACILITY

Our office is closely monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and taking precautions to ensure the safety of both our staff and patients. Our endoscopy unit is now resuming elective endoscopic procedures, but we will continue to practice enhanced infection control measures in order to limit exposure as much as possible. These measures include but are not limited to: conducting a pre-visit screening questionnaire, not allowing patient escorts in the waiting room and recovery areas, asking all patients wear face coverings while in our office, having all staff wear face coverings, and others. Please call our office if you have any questions or concerns.

If you or anyone you have been in close contact with has traveled to a high-risk area with ongoing transmission of the coronavirus within 30 days of your appointment, please contact our office to reschedule your appointment or to schedule a virtual appointment. Also, do the same if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms to include fever, cough or shortness of breath.

We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we try to best deal with the current pandemic.

ATTENTION:

WE ARE CANCELLING ALL ELECTIVE ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Our office is closely monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and taking precautions to ensure the safety of both our staff and patients. Our endoscopy unit will be closed for all elective cases until further notice. We will be performing urgent endoscopic procedures (i.e. positive f***l occult blood tests/ColoGuard, occult anemia evaluation, unexplained abdominal pain, abnormal imaging study, severe dysphagia, etc.) on a limited basis in either our office or hospital setting. We will be reassessing the situation on a daily basis to determine when we can safely reopen our endoscopy unit. Our office will contact all patients who are currently scheduled for procedures in the upcoming week to discuss rescheduling. Please call our office if you have any questions or concerns.

We are currently keeping our office open for clinic visits on a limited basis, but we will be transitioning to telemedicine "virtual" appointments for as many patients as possible by the week of March 30th, 2020. We will be contacting patients to determine if an in person clinic visit is necessary or if a virtual appointment is possible. If you or anyone you have been in close contact with has traveled to a high-risk area with ongoing transmission of the coronavirus within 30 days of your appointment, please contact our office to reschedule your appointment or to schedule a virtual appointment.
